Re: Any word on the Academy?

I think Sullivan Upper went through a golden period when Willie Anderson was there coaching. If my memory is correct, here's a piece of evidence that spending a bit of money on a good coach is well worth it. Re: Any word on the Academy?

Too many squads, talent diluted in the north. If your not involved in an ulster training squad of some sort then it’s a surprise. Bring back Ulster schools when it was the best 15 players in the province. No need for u16,u17,u18 and u19. Too many egos being created. Sent from my iPhone using Tapata...

Bit worrying at start of season for them. Rumoured to be pulling out of AIL.
A senior club not having a front row available is fairly damning...

interesting to note that there's a number of lads in that team who are 15 or just turned 16 this summer and just about to enter 5th year at school.

Re: Any word on the Academy?

It's just embarrassing now how guff ulster are from top to bottom. Lost cause. An utter mess. It has become so disheartening following Ulster at all levels. I had hoped to travel to the Bath match in December. Thank I will go to a Pantomime instead. Same difference. Isnt it strange that the U18 Sch...

Re: Are we allowed to talk about KINGSPAN

So let me get this straight... Kingspan were involved in a some dodgy but not necessarily illegal activity, upon investigation, text messages between main parties were found to be less than ideal, and in someways morally corrupt... but Kingspan at this point are not guilty of anything... so the rela...

Also, Paddy struggled more than the others mentally with the false accusations and surrounding circus, and found isolation in France very very difficult.

Re: We need a ten, but we don't seem to know it.

Trimby with an interesting piece on his podcast this week. Said that Ulster played their best rugby when PJ was really challenging the outside backs and flinging wide passes with the expectation that somebody be in the right place to catch it and exploit the space, haven't seen evidence of that in ...

Re: End of the road for Dan??

maybe we're not good enough, our structures arent good enough, the coaching isnt good enough... but more importantly any Ulster side has lacked serious barsteward for years, no street smarts, no proper doirty ballixes to lead us into battle, our Barista based culture is too nice... we are soft and h...
