Re: Joke of the Day

Wot's the difference between a geneologist and a gynecologist?

One looks up the family tree, the other looks up the family bush.

Leinster have a final this Saturday. There was no way Ryan was going to be penalised. ..... Well, yes. Naturally. But did anyone else see that, or did I imagine it? Anyone got it on Betamax or whatever prepared to play it back around the 70/71/72 minute mark to see if I had fallen asleep and bin dr...

Lying on the ball with your arms up like you are trying to move away but aren't is still a penalty. Clearly offside and got away with it loads of times. Leinster seem to have refs on a string. I recall many years ago whe Leo was still playing we were at the Our DS. There was a ruck with ref standin...

As an aside from everything else that went on on Saturday night, and I don't think I've seen it mentioned, did no one else see Ryan flying over a ruck to make head on head connection with Scott Wilson (if you include scrumcaps as part of the head)? It was about half-way on the terrace side - right i...

Issy was good. The starting FR bar Herring poor. Stewart one turnover aside, unreliable. Treadwell a waste of a lock. McCann excellent, Timotee ok but no way better than Conan or Penny. Sheridan made a difference for 12 min. Burns anonymous. Centre pair of Addison and Stu good but against Leinster ...

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

I honestly tried today with an open mind to watch Armagh v Donegal. Maybe it wasn’t typical (?) but why anyone would even think of spending £300 odd million on a stadium for this boring nonsense ( it was a bit like watching end to end basketball, you score, we score) is beyond me. If anyone in Trea...

Re: Season Ticket Renewal

Renewed. I'm holding on until I get a senior citizens discount. As I half-expected, I relented and tried to renew this morning. Tried to change to avail of the senior citizen's discount and had to upload proof age, now am waiting for them to update my invoice. It better be done by lunchtime, cos I'...

Re: Season Ticket Renewal

I have decided not to renew - just like I did last year. And like last year I suspect I might change my mind at the last moment. Reasons are as much personal, probably more so, than the rubbish we've been get served up with too often of late, but if it were purely a rugby decision I'd definitely be ...

I heard that Emma Little-Pengelly, (Deputy or Joint First Minister - whatever you want to call her) enjoyed seeing the Aurora Borealis a couple of nights ago. She asked Michelle O'Neil if she had seen "The Northern Light"s , but apparently Michelle had only seen "The North of Lights&q...

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

I hear the row between UK and Ireland about returning refugees has turned nasty already. Two refugees picked up by Garda having come across the border from Norn Iron were told they would be returned to Newry, but they're demanding to be sent to Ruanda instead. I think you're spelling has been ruane...
