Re: Potential new scrum half after Ruan leaves,

the chat seems to be this boy Stewart is to be the real deal and Ulster/Ireland see him as the future. I heard they will spend this season trying to bulk him up, let him play limited amount of rugby so he is ready for next season.

Re: Ulster sides in UBL

As far as I am aware All development and contracted players are assigned to only Hinch and Ballymena. Academy players pick there own club. So technically Hinch and Ballymena are going to be filled mostly with Ulster players and Acadmey players. I cant see how that is fair on those club players who t...

Re: Ulster sides in UBL

Ulster don't care about club rugby. They don't know how to look after the young players coming through. All these players who play AIL rugby are still doing heavy sessions on a Friday and then they appeared burn't out by Saturday. Shame to see the demise of Hinch and Quins this year but big congratu...

McCloskey to replace Scholes on the bench. Real shame as thought he deserved a chance against Wales

Re: Bedford V Ulster RAvens

Decent team out. Hopefully they can get a result. These team does leave Hinch a bit short of Ulster Players going into the AIL cup semi final. At least this way they can play they players that kept them in the league last year and not the ones who are to blame for them probably being relegated this ...

Re: Ulster vs. Toulouse or Not Toulouse - Part 1

For me the MOTM had to be Paddy Jackson. His ability to take it right up to the line and release a bullet pass is exceptional. His game management has come on massively and its great to have a 10 who can tackle. Watched Leinster yesterday and Sexton had a shocker. Hasn't played well since the world ...

Re: Edinburgh v Ulster Fri 16th 7:45pm Sky Sports

Ulster training backs - turn and kick a ball in the air, someone chase it and drop it. Do this 10 times then go to get a doorsteps. Come back kick the ball in the air 10 and someone will drop it and chase it. Fowards- stand 2m from the contact area. catch the ball and fall over. Next pod do the same...

Re: Edinburgh v Ulster Fri 16th 7:45pm Sky Sports

Having watch the Ulster A (well half the Ulster team really) game on Saturday i have no real expectation on this game for a win. The game plan for both Ulster and Ulster A is so predictable and boring. Rely on individual flair and not coached in a way to get over the gain line and quick ball. Hurry ...

Good luck to all the Ulster teams in the AIL. Big derby at Ballymena vs Quins seems to be the big fixture.

If it is anything like Ulster Branches Disciplinary system then he will get a lengthy ban. 'Referee is never wrong' is there motto so don't expect anything except a ban

Re: Ulster vs Mexicans updates

The SOB tackle was bad but not worth a red card. People are starting to ruin the contact element of the game. The worst thing about it was it was off the ball. Those who played the game at a decent level know this kinda thing happens all the time. Its called being aggressive and it was in safe manne...

Hilarious... hardly a worse challenge as he competed for the ball and only on the way down pulled the arm. Saracens was much worse.
