Re: New semi-pro league

What about if each province played an “A” team in the current leagues? “A” teams play all their games away from home except for games against each other. Thus they don’t burn out through too much training alongside regular competitive matches. Effectively there would be two leagues within the league...

4 spare tickets for Ireland vs Scotland

Guys,

Due to circumstances beyond my control I now find myself with 4 spare tickets for this evening's match.

Lower East Stand. £50 each.

Guys,

I now find myself with 4 tickets for the match that I no longer need. Face value to the first interested party.

Re: Positives & negatives: Ulster v leinster

Lack of ball carriers in the pack = lack of front foot ball = SH under pressure = Backline not functioning = aimless kicking away of possession = constantly having to defend = fatigue = poor performance. All of our ball carriers are 1st choice picks (except when IH is benched). We have reasonable st...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

If any of our "12"s were to go south for gametime surely it would be Farrell. 1. Luke is our starter and should be going nowhere. 2. Olding could end up as a starter at either 12 or 13 and can cover 10 & 15. 3. Farrell's development has been stalled by injury and could benefit from gam...

As a member if that crowd I promise not to miss a single tackle, drop a single pass, mistime a lineout, fumble a kick-off or miss a kick to touch. Di you think that'll be enough to beat the Aussies?

Re: Positives&Negs: Ulster V Cardiff

In summary. We didn't play well but still managed to score 5 tries against a team containing several internationals and Lions. Someone's going to get a real hiding if we click. Has anyone else noticed that at nearly every breakdown where Rory is the 2nd player to arrive we get the turnover. Amazing,...

Re: What a knob

Towards the end of last season myself and a mate got very close to blocking the aisle to stop one particular idiot from getting past us. The reason for this was that for every match for the previous two years he would arrive 5 minutes after kickoff carrying two pints, then after about 20 minutes he ...

Re: Ulster V Ospreys

Not the same thing at all. Both Ospreys and ourselves would have ambitions of winning or at least reaching the play-offs. To rest/rotate players against each other is a calculated risk. Its not the same as mid/lower table teams doing the same, ie. Edinburgh in the latter stages 2 years ago, who had ...
