Re: Japan RWC

Evening all. IRFU are reaping what they sowed. Ireland are completely without a functioning flyhalf and got bate out the gate by a quality side. Hopefully Hendy and Jacob aren't involved in Farrell's plans going forward, after all there are clearly better options in Turnipstan and Mexico. That's me ...

Disappointing finish to the season but we have overachieved this year. If you had of told me at the start of the year we would be in PRO14 semi and HC quarter I wouldn’t of believed you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Correct. Knockout rugby in both the league and Europe were a distant pipe dre...

Couldn't blame you for turning this off. I muted it at half time.
Nice to see Cave get a share of the caps record.

Vast chasm in class between these two teams.

We are totally devoid of ideas.

Re: Bill Johnston

The talk about Lowry being too small is frankly bullshit. "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog" would be the appropriate axiom. He's tough and brave which is more important than any physical characteristic. He also poses a serious problem for opposition d...

Re: Bill Johnston

Whenever Ludik, Addison, L Marshall, Faddes and Gilroy are all available you then then see Lowry play 10. Burns hasn’t had competition from Lowry based on the fact that Lowry has been required to play 15. Next year I expect Burns to be ousted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I would think so. It...

Re: Bill Johnston

Snipe, apart from disagreeing that playing someone out of position is a good way to prepare him for playing in his proper position, I have to point out yet again that Lowry is OLDER than Jackson was when he played in a Heiny Cup Final and became a first team regular. Now, help me out here ...how ma...

Re: Bill Johnston

I just wonder if Lowry will be moving elsewhere before too long. Wouldn't blame him. We'd be knocked down in the rush to sign him. Totally wasted at 15. Dan's done a great job so far, but playing a natural fly-half at full-back is mystifying. Paddy Wallace comes to mind as one who had his career kn...

Re: Ulster v Connacht, Sat May 4th 2019 17:35

If Darren was only a temporary replacement for Luke, does that count as a cap? I doubt it, for some reason. Is he therefore still 2 behind Trimbie, or does his brief cameo today get him to 228? Answers on a postcard please? Has to count. If he had scired a try that would have counted. I don't think...

When you're playing Connacht and the referee a spot of booing is quite in order.
