Re: A little bit of politics folks`

There is no debate that “We send the EU £350 million a week” was a lie.

Were you fooled by it Rum?

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

Boris is a former Editor of the Spectator and the Author of several books . There is of course the Urban myth that he went around in a bus stating the money paid to EU should be spent — in full on the NHS - wrong the side of Bus implied only that more could be spent on the NHS not that all the mone...

Wanted: 1 ticket for Scotland v Ireland 6N

My usual source of tickets for this game hasn't come through and I missed the news about the public sale last week.

Travel and accommodation booked, just need one ticket!

If you know of one going for sale, please send me a private message,

many thanks,

I hear there is someone in the Leinster academy with a business degree who has been lined up as a replacement.

Re: Wasps Vs Ulster Sun 21/01/18 BT Sport

Well that was depressing. Horrible weather, half empty soulless stadium, an Ulster team that could only score if the opposition gave them the ball.

Looking on the bright side, the trains were all on time so my journey back home went well.

I bought a ticket in N29 as well.

Re: Wasps v Ulster

Like any true bandwagon jumper, I was going to and see if Ulster had anything to play for before deciding to go to this game.

As fermain says, plenty of tickets available so any preferred location for Ulster fans?

Re: Hairyqueens away

Quins were rubbish, not sure their backs got a single line break all game. Their best chance to score came from the Ulster line out giving away possession which it did a number of times...

Charles Piutau interview in Grauniad

https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2017/sep/25/charles-piutau-all-blacks-ulster-bristol-rugby-union-interview I really had to see the bigger picture,” Charles Piutau says as he considers the wrench of abandoning his Test career with the All Blacks to play for Ulster and, from next season, Bristol. Re: Biblical matters

On “something from nothing”, the maths of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle predicted that it is possible for something to appear from nothing and this has been subsequently verified in experiments. This is known as “quantum fluctuations” - a particle and anti-particle appear from nothing then dest...

Re: Biblical matters

A lot of popular scientific writers don't have advanced qualifications on their subject matter but their skill is in translating existing, published research into something more understandable for the lay reader. However Dr Hugh Ross isn't drawing upon a body of published, peer-reviewed scientific r...

Re: Biblical matters

On the point about DNA, I think current thinking is this was based upon RNA and simpler versions of RNA could have been created in the chemical soup that existed in early earth. Zap electrical discharges (aka lightning) into an atmosphere with gases like CO2 and methane and amino acids are produced ...
