Re: AIL Energia Leage Rugby/Ulster League

Wilson, McLaughlin and Humphreys all development and likely to move on to other clubs for next season. Nothing will change with Queens and the number of academy players. The idea of the partnership is based on player development being accelerated by them playing on the same side regularly, apparent...

Congratulations to Ballyclare on gaining promotion to AIL 2C. Hopefully Bangor can retain their position in 2C by winning the playoff match in 2 weeks time!

Re: The Decline of Ferris

Okay , Ferris isn't in the premier league of rugby pundits , and his totally self obsessed comment that Kitshoff's (alleged) improved performance yesterday was in response to a previous Ferris press article, was puerile in the extreme !! However, posting 2024/2014 teams and asking who wins is hardly...

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.

I wonder would Aki, JGP, Hansen and Lowe et al have flourished under recent Ulster coaching tickets had they had this misfortune to end up here? They landed on these shores essentially as glorified journeymen and have been improved. Compare and contrast our mob who, at best, get a sympathy cap for ...

Saw a Kingfisher for the first time last month. We were staying outside Cambridge where there was a stream running through the grounds; stunning colour.

Re: Friends of the Cancer Centre

Just reading to -day that 20% of those diagnosed annually are stage 4 which means in most cases the cancer is incurable but it treatable but every treatment has side effects. Prostate cancer lacks symptoms therefore if over 50 it is advisable to have a PSA test . While the PSA test is imperfect it ...

Re: Filthy f*****g Russians

At one point I thought the whole thing might have been a set up to move the Wagner troops into position for a strike from the north. I'm still not absolutely sure it isn't... That thought had also crossed my mind ?? Also, if it was a genuine rebellion against Putin, where does that leave the Wagner...

Best laugh I've had in ages
Never a bad day when an England team gets stuffed, but I feel sorry for Borthwick and Sinfield who seem to be decent blokes. The 'entitled' English rugby press will savage them, especially over dropping Farrell.

It's either Ballymena, Omagh, Banbridge or BRA
or maybe St Patrick's Academy in either Lisburn or Dungannon, Strabane Academy, Breda Academy , Strabane Academy or Bangor Academy ... and there may be more.

Re: Could we field a team of players who came through the Ulster academy?

You’ll be telling me you want a crowd that came through Ulster schools next…. Warwick, EOS never came through the Academy, EOS had been Leinster Academy and was dropped from the system, iirc , was at Trinity and. Brought in for an A game , impressed and got a “let’s see how ye do “ kinda contract ,...

Re: A little bit of politics folks`

Laughable how these cabinet ministers are now so keen to distance themselves from an administration that they were all part and parcel of. Watched the Channel 4 debate last night... interesting, but not surprising, that 4 out of 5 of the candidates couldn't/wouldn't say that Boris was untruthful, w...

Was watching the news at 10 last night (It may have actually been the 9 O'Clock news, because it's at 10pm now for some reason). They had a whole piece about this Rooney v Vardy thing. I mean, WTAF?? Some editor has been told to cut down that report from Ukraine so they have room for this! I apprec...
