Re: Caaaardiff Blues v Ulster Sun 28th Feb 2:30pm BBCNI/S4C

Body language from Darren Cave after he knocked on for the second time said it all. Headless, gutless chickens playing dull predictable rugby. Shameful showing. :banghead:

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Russ- I reckon one of those pesky Belfast schools that you possibly didn't attend will win the Schools cup mate....... at Ravenhill....I would have thought 17 000 + posts since 2012 would have empowered you to offer more than standard trolling but....

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Russ - This may come as a shock to you but maybe rugby doesn't actually mean that much to most kids post school? I mean it's pretty cut throat and margins are fine and the likelihood of playing provincial rugby is pretty slim unless you are pretty exceptional.. Even if you are pretty exceptional you...

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Lads who drop out of rugby do so for various reasons...injury, moving away to college, not interested anymore as they have other priorities commitments etc. School Cup final belongs at Ravenhill/Kingspan. Paddy Jackson captaining Ulster today... Excellent !

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Nonsense Russ... The kids work hard to get to Ravenhill and deserve to experience the big stage as for most it will be their only experience of Ravenhill. It's the preceeding 5-7 years the kids put in juggling studies, training and games topped off with a hard fought cup run that culminates in St Pa...

Re: Schools Cup 2016

:D Like it Chuckle!! It's building up to a good final this year regardless of who makes It to the Kingspan. was always unashamedly a big supporter of MCB and school rugby but ironically it was watching my nephew win the cup in 2005 for RBAI against MCB that got me interested in schools rugby. My lad...

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Oh I do....proud parent. That's the point I guess , when you run your son back and forth for seven years through rain, hail snow to training and sit in casualty for hours with him and his broken leg or broken nose and go on to see him win the schools cup you have a vested interest and memories that ...

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Maybe the occasion got to CCB lads? Come crunch time it's about fronting up ... A couple of years back at the DUB Wallace had MCB beat in the semi final up until the last five minutes and one line out won the game for MCB who went on to a historic treble. It's fine margins but CCB got the result so ...

Re: Schools Cup 2016

My big lad said it was a great game but CCB just about deserved to edge it and MCB should have had a player red carded so fair enough. Young CCB side as well so kudos to them.

Re: Schools Cup 2016

Fantastic showing from MCB all the same... Thought CCB would have won easily but quite the opposite in the end?
