Re: ML Dream Team

I actually think Muller is a glaring omission from that team. I wouldnt suggest any more Ulster players (save Spence and Gilroy as honourable mentions) but considering where Ulster were and are now and that (imo) the 2 biggest factors have ben Muller and Pienaars presence i think both of them should...

Re: Positives and Negatives - Ulster v Scarlets

Just to puncture the scarlets sense of injustice but prior to their 2nd gift of a try at the end, theri 14 goes into the ruck trying to steal the ball (perfectly legally) but knocks on. As such their last try shouldnt have stood either.

Re: Positives and Negatives - Ulster v Scarlets

I actually was right in front of his pass in the first half and had it been perfect i doubt trimble would have scored anyway. completely agree his passing needs work though. There was another instance in the second half when he seemed to cut out trimbles space by drifting. Not the finished article b...

Re: Positives and Negatives - Ulster v Scarlets

Did D'arcy miss any tackles? I would like to see the stats but i dont recall any major ones missed by him. The big one was of course Danielli on Jon Davies. As far as i can see the lad punches above his weight in the tackle. He also looked dangerous ball in hand (though i couldnt judge whether he sh...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

May have worked out our new WINGER, also from the land of the long white cloud. Also contracted to the end of the rugby world cup. Also went to uni and is mates with John " Animal " Afoa. Any guesses??????????? As a project? Surely there is no way we would be allowed 6 NIQ's and a project...

Has Jane actually confirmed anything other than the ambiguous tweet about making a big decision? Would be fantastic if it happens and a welcome bit of good news given the bad news about 1F

Re: Positives and Negatives: Ulster V Dragons

Why would you drop D'arcy considering he has played in all of our big Heineken games to date? He has scored against Aironi and Bath and he was standout against Biarritz at Ravenhill. He constantly takes down much bigger players. He made a mistake last night but we are overthinking it (the fact that ...

Thats a big positive for me then. I thought Wannenburg was phenomenal when he came on. What committment less than a week after getting married. I rate Diack very highly but Pedrie is something else and brings a continuity to the team we lacked before

Re: Positives and Negatives: Ulster V Dragons

Is Gaston a 15? Certainly was very good in the air last night. Have to say one thing i wouldnt criticise D'arcy for is his tackling. He made a try saver on Bearman (i think) and is solid in the tackle. He was at fault for the first try but looking back Brew (who put pressure on him) was ridiculously...
