Re: Moderators?

Fair play to you, Fermain. Well made points. I have to say I think it's a bit rich for the aging detective to come on a forum as a newbie and almost immediately start to lay down the law. As for Baggy - generally a pain - but as you say a knowledgeable pain and, for all his sometimes inappropriate l...

Re: PRO12 R4: Away to Zebre - Live

Strikes me that we can't win. With a partial ref/tmo they go out of their way to appear neutral. Paterson is a great example of this. "I might be from Belfast, boys, but you'll get nothing out of me." And when we have an italian tmo ... well you hada clear illustration of the problem with ...

I also think iHumph did himself the world of good today, he may be nobody's idea of a tackler but by Christ he makes things happen & has a brain. Most crucially, he kicked some superb goals when the pressure was on. Some of you need to shut yer dumbassed holes.   +1 Baggy. We kn...

Isn't it 'the Ulster way' not to move on?

Do we still need Bell then?
Absolutely. With Kiss to sound ideas off.

It's going to take a bit of time to learn all the new names. I only recognise about a quarter of these.

Re: Rory Best named Ulster captain

I am not taking anything away from him as a player but I have reservations about RB as captain. My memory of his last stint was that he just didn't do enough. Didn't lift the players, didn't talk enough to the ref. I hope he proves me wrong as a strong captain is essential.

Naaah!! Mairs is missed (still) but never Stoker - far too anodyne.

IMO we only lost that last game at the RDS on the back of a dodgy try (forward pass).

Re: Les Kiss - Director of Rugby

Reasonable rumour that Windy will be going to Leinster as part of this deal. Happy that we have Ludik and we get to keep Cave if this rumour is true, but still feel it sets a bad precedent. The only 'rumour' I have seen or heard to this effect has been speculation in the press or on RTE? I am not d...

Re: Next year's Squad looks alright . . .

I really hope Olding has recovered and brings back some much needed guile to our three-quarters. Agreed on both points. One only has to look at how Gilroy has played since returning from injury to realise that it isn't a given that Olding will come back in the same form that he left. And we really ...

i got it from the horses mouth about 6 months ago. whether he's not enjoying the recent input of an individual who isnt too popular recently may have changed this. You know him personally do you? Because if not what else is he going to say to a stranger? "Feck no. I really hate it here. They s...

Re: Les Kiss - Director of Rugby

When things go well people were saying it was down to the players and when its bad it was MA. Utter cack. Perhaps the timing was right for his departure and there was a degree of loss of plot and respect at the end. However I will be fecked if I am going to sit here and listen to a bandwagon saying...
