Re: Ian Madigan

Madigan was not a "GAA convert" in the sense that he was a late comer to rugby. He played football and GAA, as well as rugby, growing up, which is commonplace with talented kids down here. I wish him well on his retirement.

Re: 2023 world cup

Nice to see Ireland hammer a minnow. We usually don't and the neutral crowd enjoy seeing us humbled. Think of Georgia or Namibia.
Ruthlessness is good.

Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023

There could be half a dozen future senior international players there.

I would have no objection to Sam Prendergast moving to Ulster to play 10 next season. We have Ross Byrne and his little brother, the Future of Irish Rugby, to pick from.

Today's match is completely overshadowed by tragedy. It puts sport in perspective.

Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023

This chap, Harry West, is down as from Connacht but he surely has Ulster connections? Sounds like the name of one of your politicians?

Re: 20s World Championship in South Africa 2023

The U 20s win against Australia showed the value of high quality coaching. Ireland's cohesion was superb and they played the Aussies off the park in the second half.

Re: Heineken Cup Final Venue 2022/23

It may be time for URC sides to forget about European games. We just can't compete with the French sides even with a home final.. Home grown players will never have the bulk of the Skeltons. I would be happy to concentrate on Leinster winning the URC next season. At least it's silverware. Ironically...

Re: URC 2022/23 - Other Sides

Hard to understand having a Munster ref against us.
It won't really matter as long as the firsts winners week.

Re: Ulster v Connacht

The Ulster collapse last evening was truly shocking against opposition put away earlier in the season. An opposition that is only a developmental club with limited resources.
2nd at home against 7th. A shocker.
You really need to step up next season for the sake of the league.
