Re: Japan RWC

Strong rumours have been around since Friday last in Leinster circles that Sexton has a grade 2 tear in his abductor which takes some weeks to get over. The media reports that Carty and Byrne will play at Twickenham seem to be in line with the speculation.

Re: L.I.

Sean O'Brien should not be allowed play for Leinster or Ireland ever again, this year, before his contract expires, until he recovers from his operation

Re: Ireland u20s

Considering that the first XV were wiped out between the Six Nations and the early matches of the tournament (12 first choice gone), and that the seconds had to play the Baby Blacks, you have to give these young lads enormous credit. I have no doubt quite a few of this years u20s will put on the sen...

Re: PADDY JACKSON

A few points occur to me: 1 The critics were relatively silent when the players headed off to France, and they didn't kick up about LI until Diageo had a brain storm. So what's the objective now? To deprive a man found to be innocent of his right to work? Really, and for how long? Two years, five ye...

Re: PADDY JACKSON

You have to admire the owners of LI who have a background in the construction industry. They appear to have resources to afford to lose a couple of sponsors. Tough guys.

The feminazis will be beside themselves with rage. I will enjoy that. Best of luck to Paddy. Decide and Les next season.

Re: Mexico 2019/20

I heard that Leavy turned down the insurance pay out as he wants to have a shot at returning to rugby.
A long shot, I'd say. Better off getting on with his life than taking risks with his health. Just turning 25.

Re: PADDY JACKSON

I can agree that feminists down here climbed on the bandwagon and helped put pressure on the sponsors. But I think your own local feminists are just as involved.
Wherever they come from they are not interested in rugby or rugby players and are just pushing an agenda.

Re: PADDY JACKSON

Wee Woman
You are unfair to suggest some kind of anti paddy bias from Dublin. All local fans I know wish him well with LI. He doesn't deserve this harassment from sponsors at all. Especially the drinks industry.

Considering the poor coaching set up it's a great win.

Re: Mexico 2018/19

If the story of the Leinster player urinating on a member of the public, in the post final celebrations, is stood up and proved then that player has no future in the club and will have their contract terminated. The sponsors will simply not tolerate it and what they say goes in the professional era.

Re: Japan RWC

Sean O'Brien won't be there anyway. Hip operation number whatever. it looks hard to see his career restarting at London Irish. He was a real star of Irish rugby but getting only 56 caps over the last ten years shows you how attritional being a back row is. It could be worse - look at Leavy's plight ...

Re: 2018/19 End of Season Review

Fact: Leo Cullen's mother is an Ulster Presbyterian who happened to marry a Wicklow farmer. I really doubt if Leo is the sectarian bigot that it suits some here to paint him as being.
