Re: Dan’s Not the Man.
Dan has to go. I do know if they can afford to pay him off, but he was looking for a new job and it is clear that we need a new coach. We clearly don't have the players that Leinster have, but as far as I can see we have enough talent for the team to be performing at a higher level than it is, and t...

Re: Ulster v Connacht
It's hard to express how disappointed I was leaving the ground on Friday night. You could tell from the first few physical exchanges that they appeared to more 'up for it' than our players. Forget about whinging about the ref - we were totally dominated at the breakdown from first minute to last. T...

Re: Ulster v Connacht
Connacht fans in general seem a decent bunch. Never the same snidery than in D4 or Turnipstan in Galway. I'd love to see them make the final and highlight how good management can make the best of limited resources Agreed, although generally always had a decent time with Turnip fans. D4 on the other...

Re: Ulster v Connacht
Some other sites alluding to trouble after the match in grounds and outside? Anyone any insight or just more innuendo to throw at us? Saw a pretty p#ssed off fan base but nothing to suggest a more malign turn? Crowd fairly quiet when exiting as far as I saw Didn't see any of this. Spent the night b...

Good win. 8 o'clock kick offs are great. Thought young Sheridan did well and is Jacob playing himself back into some form. He did a few things poorly last night, but there were also some glimpses of him back in full flight, which was a joy to behold. Personally, I thought some of our game management...

Re: Crisis or chronic illness??
That's as bad a performance as I can remember and I've had a season ticket from 2005. It came against an English team who are not top drawer. We didn't fire any shots at all. It was an abysmal performance. Defence is now appalling and you don't have to be Einstein to work out why that is. Our front ...

Re: Tickets and seat allocations 20/21
Quick question - if you choose to donate your 'credit' to Ulster rugby does this mean that:
1. Ulster retain the funds; or
2. It goes to the IRFU who choose how to distribute it?

Re: Ulster Squad 2019/20
I am not particularly political in any way but this signing worries me. I do not think that professional players should openly display any political beliefs when representing a club. This guy knew what he was doing and the reaction he would get when he chose to wear his shinner boots. Yet Ulster Ru...

Re: Ulster v Bath
I only listened to the match on RTE Radio. Paddy Wallace was the co-commentator and he wasn't hugely impressed. Still who cares.....Ulster is in the 1/4 final and have plenty of time to correct the issues to give themselves some kind of chance. Line out may be fixable in the short term. However the...

Re: Ulster v Bath
We were 3rd gear today. Handling was poor at times. I wasn’t too concerned re the lineout today however a few worrying points. The scrum was dire. TOT is 18mths short, without MM we are in big trouble. The injury to G Milo is hurting us. R Kane isn’t really the answer unfortunately at this level. I...

Re: Ulster v Clermont
Considering where we were at the start of last season I'm really happy with that game. The work rate and intensity shown across the board was incredible. There's a lot of talk about how bad Clermont were, but from what i was watching a lot of their mistakes were due to the pressure they were being ...

Re: Bath v Ulster
Wasn't a great performance but any away win in Europe is to be celebrated. Plus Leinster only beat Bath at the Rec by 3 points last year.jean valjean wrote: ↑Sat Nov 16, 2019 3:38 pm How fecking dumb are we? Seriously we have next to no smart players. Bath are the worst European team we have played in years nd we are making them look good.
