Re: Best Ulster-born, Irish/IQ and foreign XVs

We could also mention the really really good coaches .... Alan Solomons - Brian McG - and a truly inspiring leader ... Dan the Man. McF could become the best of them all, the squad seems to follow him, the crowd are with him. Sounds a really top bloke. Then ... Jeeeeeez it's actually amazing that we...

Re: Best Ulster-born, Irish/IQ and foreign XVs

You gotta feel for Sam Carter, he cant even make it to a Halloween team .... he's a nailed on 6th best in any list ... good, average or pants ... Rumour has it that Sam was picked as the 6th best solitaire player in his own toilet. Honourable mention to Faddes who was forgotten about mere seconds af...

Even as we speak, there are some piles of more respectable rubbish taking extreme offence at the thoughts of being included in the criteria for being an Ulster NIQ in that time period.

BJ ... out ... Robbie Kempson (those old enough to remember the Rev - incredible player) IMHO - Harrison was the greatest plank of utter "talk over substance" ever seen in Ulster ... Mustchin, Del Fava or VD Merwe could actually play the game, I'd find some way of shoving Brosnihan in over...

Fair point Justin... Be interesting to read the comments if we shipped 55 points at home. Id say regardless of getting to worhin 16 and that after a try at the end ... Most fans would not be happy with it in any shape or form. But thats just splitting hairs ... I still enjoyed it as a great performa...

McCloskey is on a different planet at the minute. Great to see Lukey back and looking threatening. Stockdale is getting back to form, strong with ball in hand. Michael Lowry really is something else. An absolute joy to watch. Haven’t mentioned Cooney because although he got 30 points (incredible ha...

Wasn't Sam Carter on the bench for Milli Vanilla that episode ... Just in case they needed someone to cover pretending to be a rugby player on stage with them?

D'ya miss me? ... I took a 4 year sabbatical into the real world ... d'ya know what Dave ... it sucks. At least you know the quality of headers in this place, take the baul Rum for example ... say what you like about him, he might have run drills passing a brick and tackling lampposts in Isoline Str...

Re: SNIPE WATSON

I haven't been around or checked in here for quite a while. This news deeply upset me. My own health took a bad turn a few years back and Snipe took plenty of time to text me or PM me to see how I was keeping. I will not try to say I knew him as well as many here, but I feel able to say with pride h...
