The least Adamson decision ever.
We have some good young players who need conditioning and intensive skills training. Newby must be gone with Bell

We're not winning this.
Given Issys contribution is 5 times that of AOC in only 10 min on the pitch, why are we not learning to play players in some form.

Warwick and Andrew have tightened up the front row. The difference between Tom Stewart and Andrew in terms of scrum technique. Warwick has the nudge on his TH.

AOC off after no effect. Really need to hand over to Issy going forward. OConnor really looks spent. Wonder has he been told he's surplus?

We haven't seen much from Postletwhaite either imo. As Dave says, skills are appalling. Lowry seems the only Ulster player likely to make a line break. Don't know how Ewers managed to get held up with his and Sheridan's combined bulk

2 very poor teams. Nothing wrong with Wilson's technique. Front row is undergunned but need to get on with it.
Flannery ok so far but this is our reality. AOC still a passenger

Definitely lots of untapped talent out there for sure!! We need as many Ulster clubs in good health and a club like CIYMS with great location and people involved will hopefully rouse itself from its current slumber and come back to higher echelons once more. Is john Andress still coaching next year...

Alternatives to Jones won’t feature for 2 years? Mcnabney, Mcloughlan and Crothers have featured this season. Jones has been having these ‘last chance’ games for at least 3 seasons now!! He won’t be any better than winter 22/23. And he's gone at the end of the season. Totally pointless. Either of t...

Re: Ulster's finances

Ireland choked a grand slam and a world cup semi. The IRFU are communist. Greedy, corrupt, self serving, centralist, authoritarian, dictatorial... Ulster are the starving peasants they pay lip service to. Time for a revolution. At some stage. Will it be televised? :duck: It's more like the Hunger G...

These games now fill me with foreboding, especially with a Wab like Adamson reffing.
I trust Stu will front up after his offence at Ferris's temerity for implying we were keek.

In other news, Leinster earn the right to invest...

Jim Keith is still alive and well, happy to report. Ophir in Model. Winners of schools cup in 71 but sadly after a brief run have fallen away. Ophir have now, with cooperation from Model, reignited rugby. Ship sailed on that one up the hill or rather now along the coast to Jordanstown. Few ex model...

Re: AIL Energia Leage Rugby/Ulster League

Instonians club seem to be growing their youth set up over the last few years and actually added a 4th xv. Speaking with one of their community officers he was telling me they now have over 100 kids in the Youth section (if you include u12s which currently sit within the mini sections with Ulster)....

Difference Baxter and his team has planned for and delivered significant progress ahead of time, unlike UR who should've seen this coming. But he has them fit and strong enough to compete, even with a reduced squad and young cubs. We babysit ours despite some of our young forwards showing they are c...
