Re: Ulster's finances

Ireland choked a grand slam and a world cup semi. The IRFU are communist. Greedy, corrupt, self serving, centralist, authoritarian, dictatorial... Ulster are the starving peasants they pay lip service to. Time for a revolution. At some stage. Will it be televised? :duck: It's more like the Hunger G...

These games now fill me with foreboding, especially with a Wab like Adamson reffing.
I trust Stu will front up after his offence at Ferris's temerity for implying we were keek.

In other news, Leinster earn the right to invest...

Re: AIL Energia Leage Rugby/Ulster League

Jim Keith is still alive and well, happy to report. Ophir in Model. Winners of schools cup in 71 but sadly after a brief run have fallen away. Ophir have now, with cooperation from Model, reignited rugby. Ship sailed on that one up the hill or rather now along the coast to Jordanstown. Few ex model...

Re: AIL Energia Leage Rugby/Ulster League

Instonians club seem to be growing their youth set up over the last few years and actually added a 4th xv. Speaking with one of their community officers he was telling me they now have over 100 kids in the Youth section (if you include u12s which currently sit within the mini sections with Ulster)....

Difference Baxter and his team has planned for and delivered significant progress ahead of time, unlike UR who should've seen this coming. But he has them fit and strong enough to compete, even with a reduced squad and young cubs. We babysit ours despite some of our young forwards showing they are c...

On the same theme, worth a read regarding how Saints have improved this season…. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/rugby-union/2024/01/18/northampton-saints-gallagher-premiership-squad-bulk/ There’s a paywall but I think you get one free spin. If you can’t read it, they basically did more weights session...

Looking good for 4/4. Connacht worse than shyte. Maybe we can get a decent third province out of a Connacht/ Ulster select?

What was the context or point? If it's to show how far we've fallen in 10 years through all of the issues we've been discussing, he's correct. Truth hurts. Maybe we need a bit more honesty instead of all the "learnings" BS. At what point do our professional players take ownership? Stu is n...

Great watch now that they/them have found a set of lady balls to match the flair. Game of the weekend.

Toulouse (probably) vs them will be pure entertainment.
Leinster though, seem on a mission.

Re: Clermont v Ulster, Saturday April 13 12:30pm (UK Time) TNT Sports - Actual Channel TBC

Watching the game yesterday I commented that for all our possession in the first half, we made few significant incursions against their blitz defence with no strategy on how to unlock it apart from maul. More importantly, the weight of hits from a physically more imposing Clermont meant we ran out i...

Only Toulouse left of the French now. Should have way too much for Exetaaah! 2 PRL, 1 URC, and likely 1 Frenchie. Saints will be gnarly and substandard Bulls not a good indicator of how they'll go Vs Ladies. Toulouse Vs Quins will be some spectacle. Toulouse Vs Ladies final. We are in a totally dif...
