Re: 6N 2020
Some talk of the Italy game being in doubt because players based in Treviso may have travel restrictions imposed. I'd say the entire thing is in a large degree of doubt now. Numbers will spread like wildfire across Europe between now and 7th March. How do England possibly play Italy in Rome? Indeed...

Re: New Scrum Half?
Regardless of what I think - the signing is confirmed.
I can only assume it means both Shanners and Stewart are out the door - and Finlay's the youngster who'll be 3rd choice.

Re: New Scrum Half?
It is not really a question of good enough it is a question of being mature enough to survive -- a young inexperienced player only needs to be hit Badly once to possibly ruin his confidence or be badly injured . That's a load of fúckin bullshit man. You learn from having less space, less time and b...

Re: New Scrum Half?
With Lewis Finlay going so well with the U20s... why would the IRFU sanction that now? I suppose the question is - will Ulster be brave enough to stick him on the bench from next month till end of season? I think signing him gives Finlay and/or Doak space to develop with a decent mentor when Cooney...

I reckon a SF govt in the Republic puts a UI backward.Jackie Brown wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2020 10:28 am I predicted Brexit would lead us to a United Ireland. Didn't expect it to push things this quickly though.
They'll f**k it up to the point where the economic voter won't be interested.

Re: A little bit of politics folks`
On economics alone a vote for SF is no more stupid, and probably less stupid, than a vote for FF which destroyed the economy less than 15 years ago and whose leader was a senior minister in that corrupt govt. True true, FF really sh|t the bed back then and Bertie was far too f**king cute for his ow...

Can't believe they are polling so well. Regardless of their baggage - their policies are costed via way of the magic money tree. In the north, that kinda works by blackmailing London all the time. In the south, that won't fly with Angela Merkel. It just highlights to me one thing - the electorate ar...

Re: Ulster v Bath
He's been our best back three player this season, as things stand his place in our first XV should be fairly nailed on. I'm slightly suprised that nobody is talking about him with respect to the Ireland team, i think he's playing well enough and with Earls in such bad form and Kearney not in the sq...

I also remain unconvinced about Rory Scannell. Unconvinced? There isn't one part of his game that is convincing! He's not a heavy runner. He's not fleet footed. He's not a great passer. His kicking is too inconsistent to be good. Average in every facet of the game. I'm not sure de Allende is the an...

Re: Heineken Cup seeding.
So basically it boils down to (if I understand it correctly):
- If Clermont win, then we are away to either Exeter or Toulouse.
- If Clermont lose, then we are away to Racing.
Heres hoping Clermont win then! I'd much more fancy our chances in Sandy Park or Ernest Wallon than in Paris.

Says on the graph:
"Home attendances don't include any games played at national stadiums (e.g. Twickenham, Aviva or Principality)"
