Re: AIL 2019/2020

Any publication on how much the deal is worth?

I remember talk of sponsors bank rolling AIL teams to the tune of 50k - 100k per year back in the 90's. Would the league and all clubs combined come close to that now?

I understand Donnelly Group are very supportive of Armagh Rooster?

It'll smash $3mil at this rate.

The shutdown of his gofundme page was great publicity for him and his case. If you're on his side of the fence it was only viewed as further persecution.

Will be interesting to see where the money goes if he wins compensation.

Big season for the following Zack McCall, Greg Jones, Clive Ross, Jonny Stewart and Angus Kernohan, could be the end of the road.

Stewart Moore and David McCann to break through this season.

Re: Ireland u20s

Ireland in a group with England, Fiji and Australia next year. Final was decent watch. As this competition is about development, who really cares? Do you think they would develop the same playing Cook Islands U20? The tougher the opposition the harder it is both physically and more so mentally. Thi...

https://extra.ie/2019/05/05/sport/rugby/israel-folau-contract-600k-offer Don't think rugby Australia would have offered him 600k compensation if they didn't think there would be a chance of him winning. HR have always taken a wide berth on religious persecution, it will be interesting to see how th...

I'd love to be proven wrong but I don't think anyone in years 3 and 4 will make it either due to continuous injuries or not good enough.

Interesting DIageo had no fecks to give when Ben Te'o was cleared of a serious assault just months before Leinster announced his signing. IRFU had him lined up as a project player! https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queensland/police-reopen-teo-assault-investigation-20130529-2naus.html https:...

Re: Heineken Cup seeding.

To clarify in reference to Ulster Bath fixture Grumpy. Cables quiz questions were on another level. It wouldn't of mattered had you googled the answer would not be found. A glass on Saturday will be raised. No you're not qualified (tee hee) but I'd imagine you've at least one piece of Ulster trivia ...

Re: Heineken Cup seeding.

Only one player for Ulster from that Bath game in 2010 could still potentially be involved this season come match day. Without googling.... who is it? Gilroy? Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk Good guess, may have made his debut that season but not involved Away game Ulster: Smith; Trimble, Cave,...

Re: Heineken Cup seeding.

Grumps got it.

Only Nigel Brady will be involved on matchday this time around albeit in a management capacity.

Slight trick question as everyone else has either retired from playing or moved on (Pienaar / Paddy M).

Hard to believe a whole match day 23 playing gone in 9 years. Well maybe not....
