Re: Bath v Ulster

Certainly wouldn't take the shots at goal from Cooney, but he was also kicking to touch from penalties, which he could of been relieved from to take the pressure off him a little. Thought Nordi Murphy had a very underrated game yesterday by the press. Marcel got the highlights reel spinning but the ...

Clermont Vs Ulster 10/11 Jan

Has anyone looked at the permutations for this one yet?
What route have you booked?
Odds of Clermont playing at home on a Friday night do not seem likely!

Re: Bath v Ulster

Unbelievable negativity from some of you on this board right now. Firstly, you continue to punish UR for things over which they had no control. Ryan Pienaar was kicked out by Nucifora, not by Ulster. It was Ulster, on the other hand, who signed John Cooney and he has proven to be a very good replac...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

Arnold coming back? Will he get a game here? He seemed like a nice lad, but there's a reason we let him go rather than Marshall, McCloskey, Olding et al - and since then we've brought in Addison and Hume, both of whom I would rate higher He was a bit younger than the lads you mention, only 20/21 wh...

Re: Munster v Ulster Sat 5:15pm

Trouble with Ulster was the fact Curtis played the game in accordance with his instructions - which made the Ulster game plan predictable and easy to defend - two on the inside centre . The wings didn’t get a pass all night . Possibly the weakest aspect of Stockdale ‘a game is against the high ball...

Re: Munster v Ulster Sat 5:15pm

How bad is Ulsters performance tonight that were still discussing PJ and SO on a match day thread. So many errors tonight, it must be so demoralising for the coaching staff. I know I am. It's hard to watch at times BUT and this is a big BUT we are trying to play a high risk high reward game, you're...

Re: Munster v Ulster Sat 5:15pm

Stockdale looks like he has had all of his flair coached out of him.

Munster good value for their win, we hung in there and could have nicked it. On reflection point gained.

Scarlets Vs Treviso up next

Didn't agree with the stadium announcement of Cooney as man of the match, I thought Coetzee running around killing Welshmen was terrific.

Re: Ulster v Weegies

So what have I missed?

Faddes is useless, based on his first 40 minutes in an Ulster shirt, playing in a pre season friendly, with a second string side and cannot tackle a fish supper having had 4/5 weeks to adjust to our defensive system.

Okay thanks all.

Re: Ruan Pienaar

Cheetahs with Ruan in the driving seat will give a good showing this year, tails up after winning the Currie Cup and like ourselves will not have suffered from losing players to the World Cup. I would love them to put in a showing, they are one of the South African sides that are very capable of fil...

Don't get too excited 29 man squad, will be many changes etc
With Marcus Rea playing thats probably best for the weegies, he's the reason they never bothered with upgrading to sliced bread in Glarryford.

Big hopes for this kid.

With Billy as captain, are we officially the billy boys :duck:
