Re: Northampton 16th Jan
How did Marcus Rea do today? Couldn't really tell from where I was in the ground. More big game experience for him and confidence shown in him anyway I guess. He was solid. Wasn’t able to capitalise on his groundhog skills much but did well. I have big hopes for him. The back row of Rea, Timoney an...

Re: Northampton 16th Jan
In amongst the other eye catching performances it was a commendable performance from O’Sullivan. I was a bit worried about him coming on given he’s not been in top form and with limited minutes recently 65 minutes was a big ask. Hopefully the start of him returning to the performances we know he can...

Re: Lions 2021
There is no doubt that Itoje had a very good game and ‘caught the eye’, but as Sir Ian McGeechan rightly said - Henderson does a huge amount of work off the ball (especially rucks and mauls) - his view was that Henderson was a nailed on starter (before AWJ’s return) and Itoje would be a good partne...

Going to be an interesting team selection for Edinburgh with the 4 players who tested positive missing along with a further 9 who are having to self-isolate.

Re: Rainbow Cup
It was noticeable that leinster tried a challenge at the end of the game that began with a message relayed to the doctor on the pitch. Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk What was that all about? The ref said he would not accept a captain’s challenge which had emanated from the medial staff at pit...

Re: Rainbow Cup
Anyone getting completely fed up with these sorts of games? We can't seem to catch a break at times but our discipline and ball security go out the window when we need to up the physicality. We really need to end the season with some positivity and get a full preseason in with the entire squad bar ...

Given the problems he was having with his hip it’s no wonder we haven’t seen a fully firing Jack McGrath yet. Hopefully he makes a full recovery for life off the pitch as much as on it.

Re: Ulster in the Challenge Cup
Well Addison was taking part in training for the Harlequins match so who knows, one player we could do with back [aside from Henderson] is Jack McGrath and there's no news/sign of him [although Warwick did a good job off the bench against Saints]. Is McGrath’s injury such that he is not able to tra...

Re: SIX NATIONS 2021
Like the missed kick last week I suspect this incident will be used to judge the time Burns spent on the pitch. https://twitter.com/murray_kinsella/status/1361068225228857344?s=21 Hopefully Murray K and other journalists are as quick to pick up on other errors across the team. There doesn’t seem to ...

If only to rule him out I assume Jack Willis hasn't been tempted away from wasps? Sent from my SM-G965F using Tapatalk Given the recent England cap I’d be very surprised if it was Jack Willis. A quick check and it appears Tom Willis signed a contract ahead of 2019/20 season so may be out of contrac...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Think the elephant in the room is IRFU's finances, if they are as bad as they appear to be I imagine they are open for business on anyone under contract. I'm not seeing us having a stronger squad next season than this. I’ll be sympathetic to the IRFU on that one as long as other provinces are equal...

Ulster A following the example of the senior team in turning down 3 points in the hope of getting 7 with Leinster ultimately punishing this. https://twitter.com/leinsterrugby/status/1309562092165439489?s=21 Penalty Ulster in our 22 in front of the posts but Johnston kicks to touch.
