Re: Japan RWC

Every result as expected in the first two days. The usual combination of great games and very predictable straightforward wins. Have to feel sorry for the Argies, Scots going nowhere, Saffers a one trick pony, English looking good as are the Kiwis. Ireland safe into the QFs. Could have written all o...

Re: Japan RWC

What sort of an eejit is he? A once in a lifetime opprtunity and he messes it up like this. Or is it likely to be an old sin that requires a 'historical investigation'?

Re: Japan RWC

We probably do punch above our weight. Happy days, long may it continue. Then when things go badly, we have something to gurn about. What's not to like?

Re: Any links to watch the match

Not a bad match and probably could have gone either way. Served its purpose of giving a few folk a run. Can someone tell me why Lowry doesn't get a run at 10? A couple of times he was vulnerable under the high ball and always will be at 15. Which reminds me, when are we going to get to grips with re...

Re: RWC warm up matches

I agree that we have peaked too soon but a semi-final must still be a realistic possibility.

Anybody with an hour or two to spare care to put together a list of how many players from each Pro14 team will be going to Japan? Any team with fewer than Ulster's three?

Who cares?

I watched Ulster at Ravers then, when I came home, as I switched on the tv to watch Ireland, first thing I saw was the final score. Serves me right for watching it I suppose? :banghead:

Re: Ruan Pienaar

His kicking from behind the scrum is peerless, both the box kick that stays in play and the long kick for touch. I thought he flailed about in a few attempted tackles but who wants him to waste his time tackling anyway!

Would imagine the Dragons, plus the 2 Saffer teams won’t be contributing many either.

Is the Ulster contingent not 2 also anyway these days, with Hendy and Stockdale?
Rory!!
