Re: Rainbow Cup

I loved Addison's break down the right toward the end. Such a shame Ballocoune couldn't hold onto it in contact. I think there were quite a few sloppy knock ons through out that game just as it send we were getting into good positions. And the line out misfiring was a worry; so plenty to work on dur...

Re: Streaming sports

Are there any 'on demand' services that you folks recommend, so I can watch a match in nz at a time of my choosing rather than live stream? I used to subscribe to Rugbypass but the rights seem to have fragmented. I'm keen to see Pro14, 6N, european, Super rugby Aotearoa and Rugby Championship. From ...

Re: Rainbow Cup

They are trialing these adaptations in the Super rugby Aotearoa competition currently. There were several successful challenges in the recent Hurricanes Crusaders game. The key thing for me was having the TMO/ref conversation played over the speakers in the stadium which means that the stoppages wer...

Re: Ulster v Toulouse Friday December 11th 8pm KO

Given the size of the Toulouse pack I wonder if it's worth considering a 6/2 bench, to have a lock and 2 back row options. Assume Cooney / Lowry cover 10, so a scrum half plus whichever centre/wing doesnt start

Re: Autumn Nations Cup aka 8 Nations

If Burns gets a start at 10, then there's a case to be made for McCloskey at 12 on the basis of provincial partnerships and familiarity.

Re: Streaming services

I'm not looking for free, I'm happy to pay a subscription. The challenge I have is that in New Zealand where I live, Sky Sports, who have the broadcast rights don't show the games I want to see. I used to subscribe to their rugby channel, and they would show 3 Pro12 games each week. Most weeks the U...

Re: Streaming services

Thanks. Hows the service on that site? From an initial glance from my cellphone it just seems to take me to a new tab of adverts every time I click on something. I also looked at subscribing to espn+ in the US. It appears to have an the pro14 for $6us/mo, but hung when I went to try and pay, and the...

Streaming services

I just sat down this evening after a sh!t of a day to watch the Ulster /Cardiff match, and have found that rugbypass.com now don't have the rights to any European rugby.... Pro14, English prem, T14, HEC, 6N and Autumn cup, all gone. I suspect it's something to do with them getting bought by Sky NZ r...

Re: Munster 2019/20

Am I the only one who prefers the speed of pass of Munster's reserve scrum half over Murray? Get over the gainline and then quick ball gave them opportunities to continue going forward. Agreed with you there. Not sure if it was just the suave afforded by having Toner off, but Munster looked a lot s...

How are we going in the prop and lock department?
Anyone coming through to keep an eye on?

Who says it's a back. Back was the reference to "coming back". With our prop challenges, who's to say it's not the legend that is Rodney Ah Y've gotta be kidding me?

Re: Heineken Cup seeding.

I'd like Racing to beat Sarries just to take them out of the comp.
Assume an the other results go as you say, would make Racing 2nd seed, Tolouse /Exeter 3rd. Suspect Toulouse would end up ahead on points, so play us in the QF.
Munster scrape in, just, and get to go to the Aviva for a humiliation.
