Yep...40 minutes of a nothing pre season friendly has definitely proved your opinion of him correct.

Injuries aside do we have a full deck to choose from or is Uncle Joe holding anyone back?

Ominously Less Kiss just said there are a probably a couple of "long termers" injury wise after tonight.

Re: Piutau Signs for Wasps

It was a bit irritating to hear the likes of Bayfield and Flatman on BT Sport saying Wasps should do everything to keep Piutau. Dallaglio at least had the decency to say he was an Ulster player next season but then added the phrase "I'll say nothing"... Sounds like Wasps will at least ask ...

Piatau looking very good for Wasps.

Dave Kearney has just embarrassed himself a bit I'm afraid.

Re: Piutau Signs for Wasps

http://www.rugby-transferts.com/pro-d2/0031488-un-pilier-de-massy-signe-au-munster.html Sagario has been signed as a "medical joker" as the French call them - covering Archer's injury, unrelated to BJ. As mentioned above the article also states that Munster are trying to permission to sig...

Re: World Cup News

Amazing how well we play when the best 13 in Ireland is at 13 and how bad we play when jihad is ay 13 Jihad has more ability in his left butt cheek that any of the other 13 contenders. Well, slight exaggeration... but Jared is the man for Ireland at 13. JihadvsDC.jpg Considering that he received th...

Re: Who was your UlsterMOTM vs Glasgow?

Marshall had a good game but Henry was everywhere, winning turnovers and making tackle after tackle so he gets my vote. Hendy had a good 40 or 50 minutes, although he did drop the ball over the line. Ludik was good too. Special mention to Sam Arnold, he looks the part, strikes me as a serious prospe...

Re: Any word on the Academy?

We'll see when Inst play on St Patrick's day! :stir: But yes that seems about right, though from what I hear this Lowry kid could be in with a chance. Michael Lowry? Outhalf for RBAI? Hasnt any Ulster underage experience as far as I'm aware. Maybe u17 last year. I THINK he is only in 5th form so ha...

Re: U20 6 Nations

Watched this after the Ulster game, I think we might have a couple of gems in Lorcan Dow and Sam Arnold (let's face it we are desperately short at 12 >EW ) Good to see anyway, a seriously good U20s side. Leinster have some talent coming through with the likes of Byrne, Ringrose and Dardis.

Gilroy or Wilson. Gilroy just gets my vote because of the occasion. A doff of the cap to Mike Allen as well.

Re: RBS 6 Nations 2015

Also, when is Joe's Leinster lovefest going to come to an end? The ammount of decidedly average Leinster is the squad is a joke. There aren't that many Leinster in the squad this time. Just 6 starting and I think 4 on the bench. Weren't there something like 18 Leinster in one of the matchday squads...

Re: Ulster v Leicester

We were never going to win today so it was right to rest Best and Bowe etc, it's a shame Jackson and Olding weren't rested too but there you go. Next week is different, true it means nothing to us in competition terms, but it's a winnable game, we're at home and we are playing Leicester, a team we a...
