Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!
Yep, he signed a new 2 ye contract last year. According to Wikipedia he was born in scotland. Does anyone know if he came through our schooling system? What im asking is whether he is likely to feel a pull to want to come back to us in the future?

Re: Who was your ULSTER MOTM v Treviso?
Stand up Mr.Cave, ulster had an armchair ride last night and It was an occasion made for players with a point to prove to put their hands up and get noticed. From that perspective Messrs Herring and Doyle didnt dissapoint. No one was under more pressure this week however than DC who took every oppor...

Re: The Academy[2013-2014]
Blair has disappeared off the radar since he broke his leg awhile back.. didn't play in the u20 interpros this year and wasn't involved with Ireland u19 last year. Hasn't been capped at u20 level, he was a hotly tipped prospect to be involved with Ireland u20 this year but that doesn't look likely ...

Re: The Academy[2013-2014]
Great to see that 9 of the 25 strong u19 Ireland squad are from Ulster, gotta be good news for the future. :fleg: There was a young giant discussed recently from Ballymoney i think (6'10). Does anyone know if he is involved in the set up or is he maybe still underage level? Russell Blair is the boy...

Re: Scarlets positives/negatives!
I don't think that CVR joined Ulster till after the glorious win of'99. I recall that the young gentleman who scored all our points that season was a scouser! Completely unrelated to our current situation however as the squad wasn't even fully professional, McKinty and possibly Matchett spring to mi...

Re: Scarlets positives/negatives!
Bazzaj, I've read pretty much this whole stream as well as some of the others covering the same points and your post above is the most sensible by a margin, to answer your first question, that result was nothing to do with our squad depth, it was truly and simply just a really bad day at the office....

Re: Superstar supporters
Chill out ruckie it's not in the transfer rumours section it's in the ravers rumours section and seeing as we've learned that Liam Neeson may or may not be an ulster fan, Gary Lightbody has been spotted at Ravenhill and hugo Duncan may or may not have introduced Caroline Wozniacki to the men in whit...

Superstar supporters
I read in an article yesterday by Ivan Little in the Tele that he spoke to three times acadamy award winner Daniel Day Lewis in a bar before the Ulster-Colomiers European final at Lansdowne. This got me wondering if we have Famous closet supporters/appreciators out there that we don't know about. So...

Re: Ulster vs Castres Live
 Am a bit baffled by the muted reaction to Henderson's performance. I thought he had a stormer on his European debut, 15-20 yard carries, ripping balls in the tackle, hitting rucks and lifting their fly half? off the ground and carrying him back five yards in the tackle. He has already prove...

Well my nervousness last night was ill founded, a very good result against a good Llanelli team and a very imressive second half performance. I was sort of thinking before the game that, of the four games we have before our internationals come back, we need to win at least two to keep ourselves in c...

Hey guys i'm nervous about this one, the first game of the seasons always a dodgy one and it often just depends who hits the ground running, hopefully the 'roar' will help the boys get the first win under their belt. I'm personally a bit dissappointed about this whole player-resting situation there ...
