Re: Any word on the Academy?
Totally agree...I have watched Lowry for 7 years...he's different gravy. So many back rows have thought 'here's a soft touch' only to be knocked back a few yards in the first contact. I didn't watch Jackson at schoolboy level so can't draw a comparison. I mean I've been a big fan of Lowry for quite...

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Reid has been outstanding this season - AND he can scrummage big time, never mind his ball carrying.

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Stewart (current Irish U20 scrum half) is eligible for U20 again next year also. Presumably he will make the team ahead of O'Donnell on experience alone Depends what you want. Hopefully both will get a run out to prove their worth. Some talented boys coming through. Exciting times for Ulster if the...

Totally laughable about many of the responses here...ignorance is bliss. The 'gym bunnies' are under the control of Ulster Rugby and have been for the last 3 years...If you don't know sh*t then don't comment. Please tell us more Bearing in mind your anti Belfast Schools agenda...is there any point?

Re: |Schools cup 2017
Let's not fool ourselves guys...MCB were emptied yesterday. 26-0 after 25 minutes tells the story. As said before the Inst 2nd try was outrageously superb in its execution. The 20 metre pass to take out the inside defence was sensational and the finishing by the outside backs was sheer class. Narky ...

Re: Schools Cup 2016
Seriously Russ? Who do you think is Academy potential out of the teams that played on St Paddys day? Rose tinted glasses mate unfortunately. 5 Ulster players started in Ireland Under 18 side v England in the opening game of the 5 nations yesterday. All 5 are Ulster HP players. 3 of them played in t...

Re: Schools Cup 2016
Why should it be played at Ravers but more importantly why are the School Cup Semis played at Ravers. The Ravenhilll Cup is played in a field with several sheep running free as the pitch is over used  yes it is if you play two semis over two days for a bunch of spoilt rats not to mention a ...

Re: Schools Cup 2016
I take it the High School trophy is still not played at Ravers. It really should be. They could ditch the subsidiary shield or the Medallion final. Most of those anklebiters will get another chance anyway. Why should it be played at Ravers but more importantly why are the School Cup Semis played at...
