Re: New - Warren Gatland of the week

Baggy, I'll try to answer your questions. Firstly I am not a member of CRFC, I have a relative who plays for them and most of this information has come from him. The players are as fed up with this as anyone. Secondly this is not meant as a defence of the club only to repeat the noises coming out of...

Re: Ulster Squad 2018/19

For me although Nagle is an option he's not a long term plan therefore give Dalton, Montgomery or Thompson game time needed at Pro 14 level to aid their development. Whatever stop gap Nagle (or similar) would provide he would only be blocking the kids coming through. Browne although a decent squad ...

Re: Champions Cup Quaification

Anyone else think that Treviso have an outside chance of claiming fourth spot? Their remaining matches are; Home: Connacht, Dragons, Zebre Away: Dragons, Cardiff, Kings, Leinster Dragons (home), Kings and Zebre are all after the 6 nations and Treviso would be favourites. The others, except Leinster,...

Re: Pro 12 to become Pro 14 maybe Pro 15

The Pro12 also need to make sure they tie down the South Africans. My concern is that they are using it as a staging post to join the English. If this works out whats to stop all the SA teams quitting super rugby and joining the money league in England.

Re: Ulster v Glasgow

Well if Gareth hadn't been seen to do something with Cave it wouldn't have done reputation as a practising GP much good. Correct thing to do but what I'd expect from any team medic in the current prioritising of player welfare. You say that, but there have been plenty of examples of players being a...

Re: Ulster v Glasgow

Ulster medical staff showed absolute class with their treatment of Cave in the build up to the first Glasgow try. Cave had taken a heavy knock in a tackle, got up but was a little wobbly. He got into the defensive line before the physios could get to him and unfortunately made another tackle. He got...

Re: Kiss out?

That match sums up Ulsters season. Passive in defence with huge gaps out wide and side to side in attack waiting for a piece of individual brilliance to create an opening. What has happened to our defence? It's not that long ago we had one of the best defences in europe. Now we have no line speed an...
