Re: Munster v Australia

Bugger ... Too busy dreaming of Florence! Munster's record against the Wallabies would have to be second only to the All Blacks wouldn't it?

Re: 'Secrets' get the nod ...

Melbourne likes to think of itself as the sporting capital of Australia. Whilst I'd like to see a successful Rebels* team, I don't hold that much hope for them getting the supporter base they need to keep them going. * Back in 2007 we had an Australian Rugby Championship (ARC) competition which had ...

Re: Are we making moves?

Horua does OK - he captained the Wallabies Under 21's from memory, was doing OK but took off to Japan for a while, came back, joined the Force in '08 and was on fire till he did his knee in, he's just coming into his own again now. You blokes will get him at a peak in his form I reckon ....

Re: Western Force heading to UK?

saracens aren't too far away - i may go along to check the force out if they come. but i can't promise i won't try to corner cross, giteau, mitchell and sharpe in the pub later and try to talk them into coming to ulster next year!!! :) I'm afraid Cross, Gits, Mitchell and Sharpe will most likely be...

Western Force heading to UK?

With the Australian Rugby Union's decision to scrap the Australian Regional Competition the Western Force have taken off season matters into their own hands and are planning a tour up to your general direction in August this year with possible matches being played against Saracens, Newcastle, Leices...

Re: Western Force team-mate injured in fight

And the fallout from all of this is that Matt Henjak is to be sacked and Haig Sare is to face a $5000 fine and 8 weeks suspension. Anyone need a scrum half ? The season isn't looking as bright as it was a couple weeks ago! Other news to hand is that we have managed to secure teh return of Chris O'Yo...

Bugger, eh?! And the Kiwis are out too - at least we won't have to put up with comments from them for the next 4 years!

Wallabies to win. Hopefully the Poms will make us work for it (without injuries :( ) and we can keep the momentum going into the All Blacks semi. Best thing about the Wallabies is their confidence in their ability to be able to rise to the challenge and win against any opposition on the day. Whether...

Perth Spirit

Have any of you folk spotted the new Australian Regional Championship? Starts in August for 8 rounds and has teams from most states in Australia. Western Australia (home of the Force) have Perth Spirit - here's their strip: http://www.oneaussie.com.au/images/assetimages/cat_Spirit-Jsy-150.jpg I reca...

As much as it pains me, I'm tipping All Blacks undefeated and Boks/Aussies to have one a piece at home against each other.

If Connolly surprises and plays an in form 22 rather than staying entirely with the same players we've been watching for the last 3 years I reserve the right to change my mind.
