Re: Contract Situation
But for the" blazers " most rugby clubs would cease to exist most are volunteers unpaid who devote many hours to enable the game to exist at club level -- many are competent networkers but there are a few who are there for the ego trip. Post matches dinners are either paid for in advance ...

Re: Plastic Pitch
Munster getting games against NZ Māori, SA A, crusaders, all the Ireland U20 games … wtf are we getting?? Ireland women’s?? GTF Petrie/Cunningham. Let’s start thinking outside the box here. That occasion at Páirc Uí Chaoimh last autumn was unbelievable and it’s highly likely they wouldn’t have went...

Re: Petries Answering Questions
One thing I'd like to ask about is why we're going for a plastic pitch. Who is the driving force behind it and why we didn't go for one of the hybrid ones like Munster. It’s the way most club sides are going. Financial saving and a good surface regardless of weather. Higher tempo style of rugby pla...

Re: Ulster v Connacht
FWIW, I heard The42.ie clip of Jackman saying it was a "bad crowd", and it seems he meant it in the context of poor numbers in attendance. Sent from my SM-S908B using Tapatalk Not what I took from it Sham. From a numbers POV apart from some of the hospitality and about 1/5 of the Family s...

Re: We need a ten, but we don't seem to know it.
I agree flannery looked OK in his cameos this year. Far from the finished article and in truth not as good as BB (as matters stand), but he had potential and should have developed more. Like izzy and Sheridan, should have had more minutes.

Re: Ulster v Connacht
So many issues in the game came down to one thing: Mindset, those players took the pitch totally in the wrong headspace for a knockout inter pro…..how that was allowed to happen was a disgrace. They lacked aggression, focus, accuracy, cohesion….because they weren’t in the right headspace. For an ho...

Ref is a shocker but ulster are worse. Turnover almost every time we carry into contact. Hard to watch.

Re: Ulster v Connacht
It's going to be a night for the forwards and whilst the front rows look even enough, we have a clear advantage in the second and back rows. From the connacht backline the only players I'd swap are carty and hansen and even then the latter would be harsh on baloucoune. Should be a comfortable ulster...

God that's grim. Would have thought we need one more senior prop at a minimum. Would even have kept milo.Neill_M wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2023 11:06 amAt a guess, Warwick will double job & dip into the academy.jean valjean wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2023 11:01 am Is Warwick going to convert to THP then? Re: Ulster v Connacht
Reckon it’ll be Sutherland, Herring, JTA, AOC, Treadwell, McCann, Timoney, Vermeulen, Cooney, Burns, Stockdale, McCloskey, Hume, Baloucoune, Lowry Subs - Stewart, O’Sullivan, Warwick, Carter, Sheridan, Doak, Moore, Gilroy I think that'll be pretty close but for my money I'd have Marshall for Hume a...

We might need Reid and Sheridan for the QF surely it's a bit of a risk to play them in an A game?

Re: Injury Update
Dan hopeful Warwick, Sutherland, McCloskey will be fit for quarter final according to tonights fan forum. Was Warwick a HIA? He mentioned 4 HIAs and name checked those 3, so hopefully all who went off are available. My interpretation was the three named checked were not HIAS, the 4 HIAS have a stan...
