Re: Japan RWC

Decent opening win for Ireland. We could have done without injuries to Aki and POM and the ongoing questions about Sexton but otherwise it was pretty positive, even allowing for the fact that Scotland is a poor enough team.

Re: Japan RWC

When will we get rid of this haka nonsense? Absurd to give NZ an advantage before every game. The blazers would be outraged but this is an absurd anachronism. There was a time I'd have disagreed with this but I think that was because we didn't see it very often. This morning I was mumbling to mysel...

Re: Japan RWC

NZ as per usual spending the entire game off side. Ref watching for South Africa offside like a hawk but not interested in NZ.

However South Africa have made a balls of this themselves. For 20 mins they wolfed NZ but couldn't score. Now they are f-cked.

Re: Japan RWC

Australia win game they were expected to win. Fiji played well until the 60 minute mark but you always knew Australia would pull away in the end.

Re: Japan RWC

Saw 2nd half. Japan were very average. Won by 20, bookies had them to win by 39. Ireland and Scotland don't have much to worry about if that is Japan's level. Saw most of it. The Japan full back is a major liability. The poor fecker can't catch a ball. I expected a lot more from them. Maybe they ar...

So now we learn that Brexit is really just an episode of The Incredible Hulk. The levels of stupid just keep rising.

Re: Japan RWC

Looks like Henshaw could be out of the RWC with a hamstring injury and Addison maybe called up to replace him.

No disrespect to Addison but this is not good.

Does Rory Best still count for Ulster?
That probably depends on how technical one wishes to be. I still count him for Ulster.

Anybody with an hour or two to spare care to put together a list of how many players from each Pro14 team will be going to Japan? Any team with fewer than Ulster's three?

Who cares?
