And with Pedrie Wannenburg due to arrive in Belfast within the week and Ruan Piennar signed, though exact details of his release date not confirmed, Muller will form part of quite a contingent of South Africans in the Ulster Squad this season.

they signed Wian Du Peez who they had on a 3 month contract last year on a 2-year deal i think. He won a cap for SA against Italy in the Autumn so he is NIQ. Borlase is the allocated 'project' player though he is signed on a 2 year contract :scratch:

The final warm up game will see Leeds Carnegie return to Ravenhill in Belfast to play Ulster for only the second time in the club's history. The game will be played on Thursday 26th August, kick off 7.30pm.

Wian Du Preez is a loosehead prop which Ireland has sufficent depth in Healy, Court, Horan and Wilkinson. Sexton and O'Gara (Debatable) are the only international class outhalves in Ireland. Plus considering Munster are providing Ireland with our No 1&2 TH props (God help us) in Buckley and Haye...
