Re: Dragons v Ulster

Ireland's Grand Slam-winning centre Paddy Wallace and Scottish winger Simon Danielli have been included in Ulster's extended squad. Both players took ill last week and missed the province's final pre-season friendly against Worcester Warriors, but McLaughlin is likely to give them as much time as p...

Re: Ulster V Worcester

well this is worcester who imo will struggle to stay up this season. Reading their forum they often say their backs are the problem and watching their backs last season they do seem awful defensively and according to worcester fans they have gone backwards so i doubt the quality of Boss's box kicks ...

Re: Ulster v Viadana

Another win, which is good in itself. For me, stand out players are Smith at FB, Shiels at 12, Seymour at 11 and Anderson at 7. But a great team performance. My major criticism is all the "easy" points we left on the pitch - i.e. missed place kicks. Missing those unchallenged points cost ...

Re: Thoughts on the Squad

My apologies...I didnt know the make -up of the Academy squad but it was quite evident that the Instonians squad consisted of a majority of youngsters themselves and their hooker quite clearly should be contesting an Ulster 'A' birth at the very least on the strength of what I observed.Niall Annett...
