Re: Ulster players on the lash

You could make an argument that the team buckled under the weight of being overwhelming favourites on saturday. They were choking up the ball left right and centre and even the usually unflappable Ruan appeared wound up tight. Remedy????? What do normal people do who are stressed after a bad day? Go...

Re: Adam D'Arcy

He was second choice 15 (to Toeava) and first choice 13 for the Blues He was first choice 15 and Captain of Northland. Rene Ranger 13 AFAIK Ma'a Nonu did not arrive at the Blues until this past season. He considers himself a 15, but i'm sure the 2011 super rugby season he and Toeava were their best ...

Re: Highlight(s) of the season?

The atmosphere at Ravers for the Tiger taming was amazing. Best match of any sport i've been to.

Had to watch the QF on a dodgy live stream in the middle of the night - being 19 - 0 after 30mins was the biggest surprise of the season.

Hope the highlight of the season is yet to come.

Re: Humphreys set to leave Ulster for Premiership

I don't know why NOC is getting such a hard time... Yes he was dross for us, but if you bothered to watch Connacht in the HEC, he looks a good 10 for a team on the back foot. (defence and kicking) We need depth and players that will be happy to be squad players - he fits the bill perfectly... Also f...

Re: Luke Fitzgerald OUT !!

Hope hes better soon and gets a new contract. Not many better players to watch!

He was just looking like the player he was on Lions tour before he got injured against Australia. He's had a tough time with injuries.

Re: Next NIQ

It's probably been said before. But DH knew Pedrie was off and so signed Wilson as a like for like (starting) replacement, apparently he has got a big salary too. Diack will be back up. The other back row departure is Falloon (who saw plenty of gametime) so surely it would be logical to replace him....

SUFBML

Brian McLaughlin has played a massive role in taking us from a shambles to a European Cup final.
He will finish on a high regardless.
An Ulsterman we can truly be proud of.

Thanks Brian

Re: iHumph can tackle?

IHumph did well yesterday, but I was thinking How much more formidable a side we would be with a more complete 10. Would like to see Jackson start next season first choice if possible, be great to have him developing between RP and PW,
the form 9 and 12 in Europe?
