Re: Dan’s Not the Man.

Cunningham is the man behind it. I can't help but feel his hands are tied too though. It seems we haven't got a pot to pi$$ in, added to the fact that we're a basket case to outsiders, plus the IRFU restrictions around player management (albeit with fewer and fewer players this applies to) and rest...

Well they're hardly going to self-flagellate in their own match report.

Re: Harlequins v Ulster Sat Jan 20 1pm KO TNT Sports 2

Jokeshop. Some boys are stealing a living here… Rea, Bobby, Lowry, BB, etc Forgot Matty was playing. Busy doing all that "unseen" work as per usual? But those players showed some great promise a couple of seasons ago. It points to the coaching. Any potential they had has either been coach...

Re: 2024 U20's

Can someone explain, in simple terms, why there are no U20 games at Kingspan. Ireland U20 6 Nation Fixtures: Saturday, 3 February: France v Ireland, Stade Maurice David, 9.10pm local time/8.10pm Irish time Friday, 9 February: Ireland v Italy, Musgrave Park, 7.15pm Friday, 23 February: Ireland v Wal...

Re: TRANSFER RUMOURS!!

The rugby paper very loosely linking Ulster (but mostly Munster) to a move for Matt Gallagher from Bath. Not sure there is much in it. This is an odd one, he was at Munster for a couple of seasons and moved on, don't see the sense in us signing a back three player, it's our one area of relative str...

When he was going off, he seemed to be looking at his groin. Could be wrong.

They only seem to mention new injuries or players returning from injury.

Re: URC 2022/23 - Other Sides

Some interesting discussion on Twitter about central contracts being disproportionately awarded to Leinster players, and how this feeds into a cycle of them not having to pay for their best players, freeing up huge sums to pay for the likes of Snyman, which in turn breeds success, while other provi...

Re: Dan’s Not the Man.

Ulster don't seem to have an identity this season. Last couple of seasons it was all about the maul. With the plastic pitch, they've had to put their eggs into the "more attractive brand of rugby" basket which just hasn't clicked. We saw flashes of it with Doak's try but they couldn't sust...

Soper was very well spoken of by the players when he was Skills Coach. Maybe that was more suited to him than Assistant Coach which I assume includes attack?

Re: URC: Ulster Rugby v Edinburgh Rugby Sat 2nd Dec 17:15

Seeing the team do a lap of honour after such a pathetic defeat is particularly galling. Laughing and joking taking selfies. I’m all for players mixing with fans and youngsters especially, but it gives off such a loser mentality. It simply wouldn’t happen at Leinster or Munster Rugby. Damned if the...
