Showing he can still kick it off the tee would certainly help.
Better coaching

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?

No especially not against the Saffers. Andys a criminally underrated scrummager at LH but this would be ridiculous to swap him to TH especially when we need results and to give Murphy a fair go. We are officially an experiment by the look of things. I see Jackman has said that Burns has improved hi...

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?

It is rumoured that scrum coach John Fogarty is with the squad to assess whether TOT can be switched to loose head. To cover this experiment Andy Warwick will be switched to the tight head side. Is it fair that in what are important league matches for Ulster, Farrell and FIRFU are using us as an exp...

Re: Ulster's finances

There is bitterness in all strands of the community. No one has a monopoly on it. Thankfully most of the rugby forums are free from it. That is with the exception of planet rugby forum which seems to have an underlying thread of pure sectarianism against all things Ulster. The forum is not helped mi...

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Lowe left on his ars for try. If that was an Ulster winger the media would be talking about it for next 6 months.

Sounds that way. Will he got out with a try or a yellow or a red?
I don't think the Scottish players will form a guard of honour for him. They don't like us

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Bit of a problem tomorrow. If all results go against us and we lose the 6 Nations championship. Who do we blame?
No Ulster players. So must be Aki or Bealham.
Can we blame our tacklebaggers?

Re: 6 Nations 2024

Of the three second rows last week Henderson was the one or sorted out the line out but did get blown twice -- once from a weak pass from Murray and the second was a 'homer" decision. In my Opinion Henderson fails the age test will he be there at the next world cup -- I wouldn't bet on it . Wi...

It’ll be Baloucoune’s place under most risk.
Is he injured yet? If not he'll probably fall going down the steps of the plane

Re: 6 Nations 2024

McCarthy and Beirne were very poor. Despite the hype about Beirne he is a Number 6. He is Henderson'lite' when he plays second row. McCarthy was supposed to be the second coming of our Lord. Today he was crucified and it wasn't even Good Friday. But sure the Southern meedya will blame Hendy. Game wa...
