Re: Where does the future lie?
It all comes down to money. They have it in Leinster. Less so everywhere else. Apart from a certain golfer I'm not allowed to mention.

We need a covert underage juicing culture.

A few seasons ago, he was the best loose head in the world. Unreal carrier and jackal king at the breakdown. He looks a bit out of shape now tbh. If we can reinvest then great. If it's just to stay afloat then we are fcuked.

Re: Any word on the Academy?
Looking like our academy intake this year will be the following: Bryn Ward (Backrow) James McKillop (Lock/Backrow) Jack Murphy (Flyhalf) Sam Berman (Centre) Wilhelm de Klerk (Flyhalf/Centre) Have either of the out Half's got good potential? Jack Murphy is very talented. He has a great kicking game....

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports
I'm surprised at the nonchalance about SK potentially leaving. It means losing 2 looseheads if EOS is also leaving as reported. That leaves us with Big Licence who probably only has a couple of seasons left in him and Callum Reid who has been injured. Few lads in the Academy but they'll need a few ...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports
The stormers weren't that bad. Very robust and physical in defence. They were not there for the taking. It was a huge effort to keep the game so close. Their attack didn't click but they did have the luxury of bringing on quality players. We swapped the Rea bros, ffs. We only have one current inter...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports
The Stormers were loose and erratic because they were put under pressure. We weren't great either but what we did have was heart and attitude in abundance something severely lacking this season. Yesterday was a step in the right direction. Felt like a win in some ways. Corner turned, no. Can we now...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports
I'd like to see doak challenge the defensive line a bit. This is the hardest part for a ten but is the best way to create line breaks. He is used to not taking ball to contact and will have to risk getting hit late. Will his temperament allow this? The jury is out on my book, but I sincerely hope h...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports
What do we feel is an acceptable outcome from today's game. I really can't see an LBP here. Me: Wilson more game time to challenge himself, but I worry about no Hendo locking behind him. I wonder if this is part of Fogartys remit? It would make sense if the FIRFU see Wilson as a potential future in...

Re: Stormers v Ulster Saturday March 30th 5:15pm Viaplay Sports
Ladies and gents, welcome to the Nathan Doak at 10 era ... Let’s wait and see before we make judgement. Billy Butns has set a low bar, standing still passing 5metres to the nearest man isn’t too difficult. Doesn’t tactically kick because he has not length on his kicks and doesn’t goal kick. Agreed ...
