Re: So where do we play the QF?

Often wondered how that name came to be so popular amongst working class prods of a certain vintage. For some reason it was the "Kylie" or "Jason" of it's day. It's not even Ulster Scots - it's Welsh ffs.

What the bookies say

Leinster 9/4
Munster 4/1
Toulouse 5/1
Saracens 13/2
Clermont 7/1
Ulster 20/1
Cardiff 40/1
Edinburgh 50/1

I take some comfort from that. They obviously don't think much of Embra's home advantage

Re: So where do we play the QF?

Tremendously difficult for those of a TUV "bent" but then again it must be a difficult life with a TUV bent. I can heartily recommend getting yourself into this century and go to Spain for Easter instead. They have some fabulous parades where all the local mentalists dress up as more colo...

Re: Redevelopment.

Yep. Good post from someone who is representative of exactly the sort of punter that UR should be actively targetting. Can't see what the fuss is about meself. 15K is the bare minimum and it's sensible to add on a bit of contingency in case the ERC decide to up their criteria in the future. If the t...

Re: Redevelopment.

The new development could threaten the Ravenhill "wind tunnel" that has served us so well in the past.

Aye. She might be useful if they're looking for someone to blow up the old stand ....

Those would be the obvious choices certainly.

I'd include Humphreys - not necessarily on the same playing level as the others but a fitting representative of the current era.

Re: So where do we play the QF?

For those who haven't driven round Dublin, watch out for the barrier free toll on the M50. You have to phone through your payment within 24 hrs - and if you don't, they will come after you regardless of where you live. Yeah they may do, but they've never come after me.... famous last words i'm sure...

Re: So where do we play the QF?

I believe the URSC are doing a couple of buses down on a day trip. £30 for members and £35 for non members 450 mile round trip. Factor in the current price of diesel/petrol plus a few tolls, not to mention the hassle, and that looks like good value. btw For those who haven't driven round Dublin, wa...
