Re: Any word on the Academy?

http://www.irishrugby.ie/news/40505.php#.WbcNt8iGPIU I see that Kieran Joyce - ex Malone and Conor Joyce's younger brother- has been given a place in Connacht Academy. Unsure if he was ever officially in Ulster Academy. http://thefrontrowunion.com/2017/09/junior-cup-larne-28-ballynahinch-32/ Also se...

Re: Ulster sides in UBL

Quarter-Finals (Saturday 14th October)

Ballymena v Omagh
Malone v Dungannon
Bangor v Ballynahinch
City of Armagh v Banbridge

good draw for Hinch to get either Armagh or Bann out of the way

Hinch play Bann on Sat in the Ulster Senior League ... If I was a gambling man, my money would be on Bann.

Thanks , Although Donaghmore is not a regular haunt I would happily travel for a good feed and will keep it in mind if I'm in the area

Re: Belfast restaurants

As a fan of quantity as well as quality, we had a great meal which satisfied both criteria in the Viscount in Dungannon last week. The early bird menu is particularly good value; order up to 6:30.

''Barra is a ginger, we always need a ginger on the pitch, wonder can he play 10 ?''

I've always liked Geoff Maskell reading the weather; he invariably referred to Kingspan as Ravenhill!

Re: UBL/Qualifying Clubs - Players In/Out

Surely there must be some more player news out there , especially as most clubs would have been training for a while now ?

Re: UBL/Qualifying Clubs - Players In/Out

Should clubs be signing players instead of developing their own Ideally clubs should do both. From my knowledge Bann have been one of the best clubs in Ulster at developing their own players. (Perhaps Russ could tell us how many of the team which gained promotion to 1B are home grown?). However to ...

Where are Quins or indeed any club going to get ''30 new senior players'' for the new season... ie players of sufficient quality to play in AIL ??

Who is coaching at Quins next season ?
