Re: Too close for comfort?
(Connacht wins against Llanelli, Leinster AND Cardiff, even at the Sportsground, look like a supporters dream) It was close but Connacht have managed the first vital victory.Their next home game is against Leinster on February 29th.Can strange things happen on this particular date or will it be an ...

It's a good question FB.Heaslip has been playing pretty well this year but is he ready. My own preference is to have Leamy at 6, Jennings 7 and Wallace 8.Wallace should have been playing 8 for Munster but for some reason this does not appear to be in the thinking of Declan Kidney but that still would...

I used to get these voice messages left on my phone from some woman with a Kerry number asking me why I wasn't calling her and what had she done etc.I even rang her number once to tell her she must have the wrong person/number but she continued to ring.I was out one night and she rang.I got a lady i...

I have been hoping that Easterby would announce his retirement.I remember saying on this forum he is holding up the development of a new team. Is that not Eddie O'Sullivan you are mixing him up with :? Too true.If the older lads keep themselves available Eddie will continue to pick them. Can't blame...

I hope he doesn't call it a day, cause we don't have any viable alternative for him at the moment. Neil Best is sh1te. Leamy/Quinlan? I have been hoping that Easterby would announce his retirement.I remember saying on this forum he is holding up the development of a new team.In that regard although...

The problem I perceive with Williams is that he is too confident(arrogant maybe) in himself. What I mean particularly is that once he makes up his mind on players/sytems etc nothing will change his mind(Maybe you are getting Eddie after all).It appears that he does not take kindly to being questioned...

Been a compelling group to watch thus far but has again highlighted the farcical nature of the seedings. Clermont and Wasps are the 2 most complete sides Ive seen so far and theres a decent chance neither will qualify. If Munster can sneak through and then avoid Toulouse they must fancy their chanc...

Freddie, Niall Woods is a clown and everything he says must be taken with a pinch of salt.I can't stand him and really hate when he is commentating. He is one of those types who changes his pronunciation of names depending on which channel he is on.As to this particular incident it's much ado about n...

From what people are saying about Bowe(I have only seen a few of performances this year where his tackling was poor) he may deserve a call up as I always believed he had great potential.I would never play Murphy again for Ireland. He has had his chances and proved beyond doubt he is not up to it.I do...

As I suspected.A waste of time and money. The operational and strategic actions highlighted are things any of us could have come up with in ten minutes and it took them months and who knows how many interviews. That was the easy bit.The hard bit for the IRFU is going to be actually implementing these ...

WASPS V CLERMONT AUVERGNE
Very exciting second half.I thought Clermont were going to win it but Wasps held on.Munster will need to get a bonus point win tomorrow and stop Clermont from getting one in Round 5 while trying to get one themselves. What a great group with possibly 2 from 3 going through(one being Munster obviously)

It will probably turn out to be a pointless waste of time and money.Nothing will change because of it.They had the same thing for the Republic of Ireland soccer team a few years ago and to the best of my knowledge nothing came out of it although I could be wrong because I wouldn't know a lot about s...
