Re: Looks like Tommy isn't coming back to us....

While he would be very welcome at the RDS, your needs are greater than ours in the backs department. Glowing in the aftermath of the dismantlement of the Scarlets on Saturday I may be but Shaggy scored a sensational opening try for us and we have lots of young players coming through as well as Fitzy...

Re: Escape route from Croker?

Hwood, lots of changes since the 1970s in that part of town which was a no go area then. Gardiner Street was about as bad as it could get then - don't know how you could live there. Also these days ...

Re: Escape route from Croker?

local knowledge: Take the Port Tunnel and turn off to the right just before you get to the Point and the north quays. Head along Sherriff Street and park in the cul de sac nearest but before the railway bridge and walk up. The toll is only €3 for using the tunnel at the weekend. Five minutes walk to...

Re: Ireland Team for Fiji

Horgan has been playing first choice for Leinster and has been in excellent form. It's just he has been passed out by a better player in Bowe but still worth giving a go. Dempsey, by the way, should not be forgotten even though he is finding it hard to get game time. He is still a great player when ...
