Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

Baggy, I know a lot of welsh rugby fans and not a single one of them identifies with a 'region'. The majority of welsh rugby supporters support their national team and grass roots club rugby. They see the regions only as a means of feeding the national team. I suspect that there will be very few 'Bl...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

When I read a poodle PRL "journalist" write bullshit such as this, Despite more than 50 per cent of the €44m (£37.4m) revenue generated by ERC being distributed among the Pro 12 clubs, the Welsh regions claim they are the poor relations of the Celtic teams . I start to wonder if he can wr...

Re: Heineken Cup Replaced

The article in the rugby paper was written by some gutter-press bell-end called Peter Jackson. This is the same Gatland that got his wrists slapped last year for publishing an article suggesting that the WRU were colluding with the Scarlets to 'kill off' the Ospreys! You couldn't make that up.... ex...

Re: OK Doaky, so where are we now?

I agree with pretty much everything you have written Baggy. Going forward though, I would really like it we looked like we might consider adding the odd drop goal to our arsenal. Particularly in the game against Glasgow when we were hammering away at them and they conceded very few penalties, it wou...

Re: Montpellier vs Ulster

Who to take the kicks this weekend?! I'd go with Pienaar even though we haven't seen him much and he can have his dodgy moments as well. In a game like this in France he'd be my choice. Although Pj is in good form, he'd need 10 games kicking at the standard he is currently at rather than just the l...

Would that count as a match in the McCafferty and Wray Memorial Cup ?
I like the idea of a McCafferty and Wray Memorial Cup.... means the feckers are no longer with us....

Re: Montpellier vs Ulster

On the back row debate- If our scrum gets put under pressure on our own put in, I think it is vital that we have our most technical 8/9 combination in terms of controlling the ball at the base. That means having Wilson at 8 on our own put in, if we are sticking to the same back row as last week. My...
