Re: In Bed with Ryan Constable

It is a bit weird though you got to admit  I'm not freaked out Yin, I do find it bizarre though. I also find homeschoolers bizarre except in England, they have given up on general education in England, much of it in the hands of nutters and zealots. On the other hand, just on the simple pr...

Re: In Bed with Ryan Constable

Am I alone in not being freaked out by this? A mother who doesn't hate her children, who spends time educating them and engaging with them, when most kids are raised by the feckin TV - seems pretty positive to me.

Those poor children will be humiliated in school.
Not if they don't go to school they won't.

Re: Biblical matters

I see it differently from both Tighter and Tozer. We believe stuff for at least two reasons (there may well be more), either through the weight of empirical evidence or on the authority of someone we trust. While there can be significant agreement on the former, the latter is more problematic. The ...

Sure what the hell could our guys learn from a coach... Were feckin brilliant so we are.... fleg.. I don't know if you heard the story about the Ulster player who effectively told a coach to feck off when being given some advice on how to lift a player in the line-out. Apparently he knew how to lif...

Re: Positives & Negatives: Ulster V Ospreys

Just read the comments about the back lines lack of plays and I can explain that quite simply to Lw7 and Deraless. It was a different backline put out with completely different combinations from previous weeks. Only Pj and Ludik were in the same positions as last week. That means different lines of...

Hmm. Presume the last time we started with 5 in a row was 4 years ago? If we get to 8 in a row we'll be in fair shape going into the Munster game.

Re: Ulster v Ospreys MOTM

Webb also managed to win a penalty with the old Leinster passing the ball straight at player on the wrong side with his arms in the air. Reidy I think it was. Reidy should have had the sense to lie down as he was cleared from the ruck but he was trying to get back. Any time we try that the ref just...

Re: Vs Ospreys 01-10-16

A few brief thoughts. Treadwell is massive, and did some hard hitting tonight. Ospreys defence was absolutely outstanding. Aided by some high quality cheating of course or "work at the breakdown" as some call it. Either way it felt like they had 20 men on the field and we really struggled ...

Re: First Brexit ... now this

Ah here now. There's some decent picks on that list. These sorts of things are obviously really subjective - I think The Office was great, you may disagree, but by way of consensus of what is on the list that anyone has seen was any of it worse than Mrs Brown's Boys? Nothing that I've seen can touch...

Was in Kiwi's brew bar in Portrush tonight. Had a couple of 8 degrees' summer beer, which was really tasty. First time in the bar, highly recommended.

Re: Biblical matters

My belief is that God has done everything to prevent anyone going to hell How can you say this when the objective physical evidence for his existence is nil? Throw us a bone here!! A few weeks ago people believed that brexit meant there'd be £350m per week more going to be spent on the NHS. Yin, Br...
