Re: Team for Dragoons
Izzy and Sheridan starting. Marcus Rea back in. That'll do. Marcus Rea started at Ospreys. Alright Dan, I stand corrected. Did I really want to select him? No, but at least I don’t have to listen to the experts on here any longer. If you'd spent more time at your job and less at the theatre and con...

Re: Dragons Pre Match Q&A with Jonny Petrie
Slogan now CEO of a charity called Bryson it seems. Not entirely sure what they do, my condolences to anyone that works there or relies on them. If it's this one https://www.brysongroup.org/ it's very reputable. Kerbside recycling is their most visible presence although they provide a wide range of...

Gianluca Gnecchi (FIR, 29th league game)
AR 1: Frank Murphy
If only it was Gnocchi t'would have been a great pairing.

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Should Italy have been allowed to retake that last penalty  and the French marched 10 metres? French twice encroached on the 10 metres before Garbisi took the penalty. The opposing team may not do anything to delay the kick or obstruct the kicker, including intentionally taking, throwing o...

Re: And today, joining the underground .....
Sad news. Old school defender and not the worst manager in the world. Spent a hell of a lot on minutes on the football field which seemingly didn't do him any good in the end. Yep. Ex professiobal footballers do not seem to have a particularly long lifespan. Even worse I fear for the current profes...

Today, it's Stanley Bowles: One of my favourite players in my youth. Loved watching him play for QPR - the nearest anyone could get to George Best for skill and attitude (but still some way short - but then, weren't they all?) :salut: Nearest to Bestie, but still some way short regarding off field ...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Just looking at the pics in the BT of people watching the game in Belfast. I don’t own any Irish kit cos I’m a Lionel but is it normal for there to be no sign of any Ulster stuff? Mrs justinr 73 went to the game with a mixture of the two. Fairly standard in my experience. If Ulster had a green top ...

Re: 6 Nations 2024
Scotland should have run that last play. They couldn't lose and a TBP would have meant 5 pts against both Italy and Ireland could have guaranteed them the Championship. As it is Ireland can secure the title at Twickenham

Re: 2024 U20's
Thought Hopes was very good, but needs to bulk up. Understandably lanky and very lean. Ward and Egdogbo paired well. Ward looks a good bet with familial pedigree. Strong carrier and tackler. Walker decent but in a weak FR, Bell was a bit out if his depth. Grandparents from Down, but born in IOM. Wh...

Re: Richie Murphy - right man for the job?
Good old hairy arsed north of England man badly needed, someone who’ll pull away the sense of entitlement that the old master race pupils have, who’ll make them know and understand that an ability to twirl a ball on their fingers for minutes doesn’t actually count for a fiddlers f**K if they don't ...
