ST was signed to ensure that we have two specialist full backs in the squad. FB is a key position and if D'Arcy were to get injured two minutes into the match against Leicester in three weeks time we would be fecked. Pienaar hamstring still giving problems, medics not happy with it, so withdrawn from squad. Hope to be involved next week

Perhaps the thinking is that Wannenburg will continue to play 8 in the remaining H Cup games (with Ferris playing 6 obviously) so he needs as much experience in that position as possible.
