Usernames

Post by uafcadmin »

Lately, there have been a number of users registering on the forum with names of less than 3 letters. Unfortunately this contravenes the forum registration agreement terms and conditions:
Your username should consist of more than 3 characters. If it is less than 3 characters you may be asked to change your username, or you may be banned.
As it is not possible for a user to change their own name from their profile,PM me and I will change it. If not you may be banned.

One of our Stanleys is missing!

Well he was there at 1:29 am this morning, wasn’t he Rooster?

Well done UAFC – editorial control at its best. Now ain’t that somethin’, coming from a Scooper!

And for those of you who don’t know what I’m on about, or on for that matter, see me in the naughty corner of the tent on Boxing Day and I’ll tell you a tale about Ratty, Moley and Toady. Every word of it true!

Not in the slightest old bean.

There were three of us up late last night and two of us were not posting under the name in question.

On a point of pedantry, I don't post under the name "Stanley" either. I post slightly to one side of it.

If I sign my name under the post, like this

All the best,
Stanley

I would be posting over the name.

In this case, however, I've posted under and above the name, but I wouldn't usually do that.

Mysteriousser and mysteriousser!

It seems that people or possessions passing thro' the Stanley Gate are apt to disappear!

If it's not the person, it's their post.

Who says that Royal Mail Post is unreliable? They could teach this lot a thing or two.
