Log In problems,

Post by bootlaced »

I hav'nt been logging in for a while[due to a family bereavement] and when I have just attempted to log in,it has taken me 3 times,as I kept getting a message that was saying that due to my multiple logging in I had to answer a question,What is the name of the Ulster A team, just as well that I am aware of an Ulster A team, could you imagine if the question was when does the Ulster A team fufill its fixtures,as then I would never have got logged in.Simple remedy for myself is not to bother anymore.

Managed to get the same message after multiple attemps to login using incorrect username and password combinations. Finally had to provide correct login information and answer the question.

You guys sure you were typing correctly? (I am assuming you are not on an auto login.)

I've just had an odd one. Was already logged in, hit refresh to be greeted with "You have exceeded the maximum number of login attempts, you must now solve a captcha as well as logging in correctly".... Or something like that.

Hmmm... Suspicious.

Am I being serious? no  I just made that up :banghead: If I knew what the problem was I can assure you that I would not have posted that.Login no,try different servers no,login window freezing,IE cannot display that page, but yet I could log in to other forums.Firefox also has frozen.Plus if I am asked once more what the name of the Ulster A team is,I will personally go to the tower of london to have a chat with some feathered friends.

Strange one then bootlaced
There has been a bit of the general warning too many connections going on today again but never heard of that problem.
Did you try the old clear cookies and other general crap trick ?
Just thinking is it you that is on Linux as I remember someone is?
