Troubles with URTV

Post by JC on the Terrace »

I tried watching the interviews with Michael Reid tonight, but am only getting a new page opening up. It used to open up the player automatically & worked fine.

I'm using Firefox, but have IE6 installed, & Winamp, but have Media Player installed also, don't think there's any conflict between them, never had trouble before anyway.

Anyone else having similar troubles?

Yes ................i cannot view them through them through Mozilla or Firefox.
It's only very recently that i have discovered that i can view them through MSN explorer, but don't ask me why or how. :?

It doesn't work on Firefox or Safari on a Mac either.

Sorry... I lied - it just started working. Nothing happened initially when the "multimedia centre" window opened but the stream then started after a few minutes.

Running the latest version of Firefox and they work for me.

I've been updating Firefox as each version comes out & haven't had any problem up to now, but nothing seems to happen since I last updated.

Guess I'll just have to try it back in Explorer

Edit: Interesting, now in Explorer it will open the Multimedia Centre & play it, but at around 4x speed. Either that or Michael Reid is very nervous. Like listening to Smurfs on speed!
