Been over there myself Freddie and it's difficult to find rugby among the dross, and I thought some posts here went off topic at times, there even appears to be a few posters that ask a question then answer it themselves in the following post :roll:

Board updated this evening to the latest stable release version, so the files are all newly installed.
The database was checked last weekend and no faults found.
So if the messageboard runs slow, the only possible reason for this would be the webhost's database server. Keep your fingers crossed... else I'll have to change our hosts.... not the easiest of tasks but I will if necessary. 8)
