disabling thay annoying signature

Post by margin walker »

Is it possible to stop a particularly annoying signature from appearing at the bottom of a user's posts?

I don't think you can disable the welders signature on its own. What you can do is to add any posters that annoy you to your "ignore" list in which case you would lose both the signature and any potentially positive content that might come with it.

You might feel that that is no great loss either. :stir:

if it's the .gif movement, you can freeze all motion on a webpage by holding alt+F4

My thoughts drift, albeit briefly, to that wee ditty by Pastor Martin Niemoller which starts something like --

First they came to disable my signature .........

Just where wud it all end ?? - the Ulster public has a rite 2 no.

You have assumed ther PWR, it may or may not be the one you have referred to.

TBH, signatures that are over-wieldy? are a drain on bandwidth, but so far I've let everyone get away with whatever they want to do. They don't really bother me, as long as they're not OTT.

I didn't actually assume it was the welders signature that was annoying him, But when weldy posted immediately after MWs post I thought that weldy might have thought so himself. So I had a wee stir.
