NSW Waratahs forward Jacques Potgieter has apologised for the "offhand" homophobic slur that has resulted in a $20,000 fine from the Australian Rugby Union (ARU).

All round good egg and champion of liberal causes David Pocock complained twice at least to the ref, but he took no action, happily the ARU have. Potgieter is hit in the pocket for twice referring to Brumbies players as "faggots".

Slap it up him, though of course many of you fruit hating dinosaurs will find this far too left wing and Millibandish for your liking.
