Aye. The unfinished tournament of 1911 also got a mention while the ball was practically in the air from the initial kick off

Gusher should be allowed to cover this competition for as long as he draws breath :thumleft:

Thought both sides played some great rugby and the tries were excellent. Didn't think it was a hoof ball kinda game really?

Neither did I. Good game, could have gone either way.

Not sure how you can say the Wallace no. 2 had a good game when he couldn't hit a barn door in the second half.

If Wallace had a decent line-out they would have won that game without any difficulties. Why they persisted going to the corner is beyond me.

Well done RBAI.
You haven't seen me at my best yet. Let's be honest, you probably never will.

RBAI had more cohesion and hunger. It was tiny margins but RBAI fully deserved to lift the cup.

Well done RBAI. Two pretty well-matched teams and could've gone either way.

He's probably taking detailed notes on who is playing where, incase of future positional changes later in their careers.
Anybody's Granda play for Ireland? And has he mentioned that Chris Henry went to Wallace?
He surpassed himself this year! He discovered that the touch judge's great great (...) grandfather played for Ireland in the very first international.

Still can't believe people are putting all the blame on the throwers at line out, fair enough maybe didn't have the best throwing game although all round game was solid

First time I've ever seen a ref warn a skipper about crooked throwing.

Excellent game of rugby and great advertisement for the schools game.

Well done Inst and hard luck to Wallace it really could have went either way.

Wallace's lineout was a collective failure far from the fault of the hooked. It undoubtedly impacted the result which I am sure will rankle for a year days after this.

Think it's very unfair to label it hoofball in any shape or form.

Only saw the second half in fairness so maybe the first was a fantastic exhibition of running free flowing rugby so if that was the case, I stand corrected.
From what I did see I don`t know what else to call it other than hoofball when every other time the 9 gets his hands on the ball he box kicks it but if that floats peoples boat so be it.
It just doesn`t float mine.
