Any thoughts on this year’s Medallion Shield?

Bangor Grammar have been ordered to replay their match with Sullivan due to them fielding an ineligible player. If they win it sets up a rematch of their quarter final victory over Inst last year.

Pretty lenient letting them replay instead of reverse of result.

They took a player off mid first half then brought him back on during the second half even though the referee told the bangor coach that rolling subs weren’t permitted. Not sure if true or not but I heard that it was only sullivan not wanting to get through based on a disqualification that got bangor the rematch.

Very very stupid mistake by the bangor coach and very tough on the players that battled back from 10-0 down at half time to win the match in the first place.

MCB beat RBAI 14-13 in an awful game played between 2 very mediocre teams.

You can think that if you like Dave but you'll never convince me!

Not saying that it didn't exist previously.

There's a lot of rugby personality throughout the CCB Medallion team this year but to give some perspective Blackrock beat them 40-7 earlier in the season. Saying that the current Rock set have arguably the strongest squad ever to play in the Junior Cup.
